So those kids were always behind the scenes having their own dangerous adventure when we all watched Jurassic world?! That is awesome
yeah!
no. They just created these characters out of nowhere and added to the story you know .
@@danielcastaneda4975 the characters are going to have direct connection to dominion, which is coming in 2022
@@danielcastaneda4975 mhm. While the events of Jurassic world were happening these kids were having their own adventure. These are just new characters, but they’re story is during the time of Jurassic world…
@@dallaswinston330 he’s saying that they were thought of and created after Jurassic world came out and then added into the story which is probably true. Don’t think the creators of world were thinking of this show when they made the movie
The side by side of Claire and her nephews safe on the mainland and the kids still stuck on the island is actually so heartbreaking.
Omg. So messed up to realize.
I love your pfp
Don't forget, we heard from one of the counselors that Claire's nephews were originally supposed to join the campers that day.
@@digifreak90if claire nephews joined the campers they would probably get rescued too since claire and owen went looking for them in the movie.
@@Ferike_ Other than the boys getting stuck with the Indominous that's the other reason they didn't join the campers. But it would have been cool to see
Camp Cretaceous is getting those Clone Wars vibes when tying in with the movies and I just love it.
That what I was also thinking
Same
Facts
The same goes for Star Wars Resistance. And that Star Wars Rebels never did, which is one of the reasons it sucked.
@@RentonElric85 I remember Resistance
It’s kinda funny knowing that the kids were watching when that guy got eaten by the mosasaur in the second movie and we had no idea
IT IS
Now every time I watch JW: FK, I’m gonna think of Darius, Yas, and Brook just standing there taking it all in.
It’s funny because Yaz says lucky guy! Only for him to get eaten like 3 seconds later
Yaz jinxed that guy
Imma go rewatch and try find some hint, I'm not gonna find shut but hey I'm in lockdown why the hell not
I honestly like the fact the Scorpius Rex was, not only the first hybrid, but a failed one. The Indominus was the first successful one followed by the Indoraptor. Gives more depth on the fact Dr. Wu never stopped trying to make it right.
yeah
late reply but it felt like the scorpius was just an indoraptor/indominus prototype, like it was the first version of what we see in JWFK now.
@@clapping_hand it was the first hybrid created by wu. it’s explained on the show
he still didnt the indoraptor was a prototype so dominion who knows mate
Technically the Spinosaur on Sorna was the first hybrid or the start of it all. It was a failed experiment left there.
i still find it so shocking that camp cretaceous actually caused the events of the opening of fallen kingdom
I’d argue that even though they helped slow down the Indoraptors creation, Wu still would’ve done it either with or without their interference. For one thing, they already took the Indominus Rex’s DNA samples, the key to the Indoraptors construction. Henry Wus work was just a shortcut, as Henry staring himself that without it it would’ve taken years, but with it would only take months.
So what I’m saying is, if they had interfered, the Indoraptor would’ve been made sooner, way before the events of Fallen Kingdom. But thanks to the campers interference, the Indoraptor was created 2 and a half years after the events of he series
@@lochness5524 Sooooo...if they DIDN'T ACTUALLY ESCAPED in the final episode of Season 3.....they may be stay in the Island until the beginning of "Fallen Kingdom" (2 years and a half later) and that would be the only logical reason to actually save the dinosaur of Ben.( You know because of the evacuation of the dinosaurs)
@@jjlrdz what I’m trying to say is that the campers delayed the inevitable
@@lochness5524 Yeah...I get it.
I was just talking about the future of the show.....if they get another season maybe haha
@@jjlrdz I mean why else would they hint to the mystery dino in the Yacht, because as we know there was only 3 Baryonyx, and their couldn't have been a 4th stuck in the yacht because that arrived after they found the 3 barys, and one is dead, and not too long before that we see the 2 barys on the other side of the island so ye idk probably gonna make them turn back
The fact that the series REALLY connects Jurassic world and JW fallen kingdom starting is BRUTAL
ikr
Yeah that means they were on the island for almost a year!

i watched it because of the tiktok videos making edits of ben, i literally thought Ben wasn't in seasons 1 and 2 until i realized Ben wasn't really a jungle boy in the whole series😭
Not for kids. It has serious "Survival Horror" to it. Is not as violent as the movies, but still. Not a kids show. There are genuinally scary parts and some jumpscares even caught me off guard. And I'm a horror fan, it's not easy to get me and this does sometimes. Highly recommend.
Yeah the campers were gone after they go back to jurrasic Park in the 2nd one
Every "kids show" of a franchise/movie isnt really for kids
@@anobody5520 umm do you mean 3rd season?
This makes the film's light hearted ending seem ever more harrowing, that while they are sitting safely waiting to go home, those six are abandoned on an island with killer dinosaurs. Though, there is something that bugs me, with all the running around the forest Claire and Owen, and the brothers, did they never once even seen the campers. I know there are references here or there, but this video confirms that they were rather close to one another occasionally.
they were probably too focused on each other than a kid fall out of the sky or notice a group of kids in the shadows
Hello there there is a reference actually in the control room scene Lowery says Six kids in the lost and found but they aren't quite found are they ? Or this might just be me overhearing a coincidence

After season three I have no doubt in my mind that Camp Cretaceous will not only continue, but go on to set us up for JW Dominion.
It’s supposed to tie in with dominion so you’re not wrong
@@SilverscreenEdits13 idk if this is true or not but swrve said that a lego set got leaked with the characters Darius, Brooklyn, and someone else. But the cool thing is that owen and Clair were int he same thing too
Lmao imagine they get to the mainland and Dinosaurs have already taken over the whole world.
@@JackofallWades going through the timeline, the rest of fallen kingdom takes place three years later. and assuming dominion will pick up right where jwfk ended, that’ll still be three years later. the kids managed to get off the island but that’s still only at the six months point. for all we know they’ll manage to get back to the main land before three years have passed
@@SilverscreenEdits13 What if they dock at Isla Sorna by accident and then have to spend more time getting off there.

This is the reason why we fell in love with Camp Cretaceous. We honestly thought it was going to be a boring kids movie. I'm so glad we were wrong.
The one time people are glad to be wrong:
Speak for yourself... I was hyped for this show since it's teaser back in 2018.
The first time they announced this show, I never paid any attention to it. I literally thought it was for kids. Just watched it in 2021 and the show was really great.
The people and dinosaurs dying caught me by surprise.
Yeah, same. When my lil sis told me about this show, I didnt wanna watch it at first... But now, Dang! I'm so crazy about it. I can't wait for the next season.
i took notice when i saw people having pg-13 deaths. thats where i dusted off netflix and watched it
I will always find getting eaten alive the most gruesome death ever.
I think drowning is, but you have a good point!
*Me over here having read an entire essay on what happens when you're burned alive*
Yeah don't ask but although I'd put it high up there, I think being burnt alive is the worst.

it’s so insane that for the rest of the planet, there was a peaceful break between Jurassic World and Fallen Kingdom but for the kids, even if they do end up getting out, they’re just gonna get back to a world FULL of dinosaurs the poor babies they have not had a break since they arrived at the camp lol that’s devastating
The Fallen Kingdom scene is my favorite live action comparison.
Same here 😊
It's funny how Camp Cretaceous is suitable for kids 7 years old and up on Netflix
LOL ikr
lol but everywhere else it's TV-PG, even though there is a lot more death then I though there would be.
You can be shockingly brutal in kids shows as long as you cut as soon as someone gets shot, burned, eaten alive, falls into a pit of god knows what, etc. Just watch the 3rd episode of bad batch which is rated 6+ I believe
Yet lots of off-scene death *crunchy asmr*
My 5 year old loves the franchise and we literally watch the animation and live action all the time together. He’s a Dino nerd like Darius and I feel that he connects with him.
It’s amazing how close these kids were to everything. They were literally following the Indominous to the birdcage and were probably less than 200 feet away from Rexy
This series is genius, it keeps the watchers occupied while Dominion is still in the making. It also explains the storyline from a different perspective.
It is crazy that during the entire events of JW, Camp Cretaceous was not just in the background and in the wild sections of the island but parallel to the occurrence of the Indominous Rex breaking out of containment and causing the Second Isla Nublar Incident.
Parallel side stories like these are what I always love to see how it not only all takes place but also links up too.
CC did not need to go as hard as it is, and I love it for it. What an amazing show that is just as cannon as anything to me.
it’s such an incredible show
02:19 perfect example of how you shouldn't celebrate too early.

Damn, crazy how the kids witnessed the mosasaur scene at the end there.
I love how the Series connects the Jurassic world universe. So cool.
I love the fact that the show perfectly balances between dark stuff and cool references that can keep the adults entertained and still manages to be a childish program with off screen deaths. Hell of a good start for the JP extended universe, can't wait for season 4...
This is really well put together, keep up the good work!
thank you so much! if you enjoyed this, you may like my other camp cretaceous edits (there’s a playlist on my channel)
I hope Roxie and Dave come back in Season 4, or 5 (if they go that far).

@@TACTIK00L yes however. The show never mentioned them again, they dint even show what happened to them after they left the island
Maybe they will. Pretty sure they have Season 4 set to premiere in September, which makes sense when we just got the 3rd season in May and the finale set up that there’s still more to come.
Also, since it took 2 seasons to get between the first two movies, I think we’ll get to Season 5 when it connects with Dominion. I think in one of these 2 seasons we will see Dave and Roxy again.
I want em' to make a comeback so badly so they can see that they are still alive
Just like ROTS and The Clone Wars, I love that Camp Cretaceous included scenes that take place concurrently with the events of the first two Jurassic World films.
I keep freaking out over all the connections and references and callbacks etc everything in this series is so well thought out and it gives me chills.
oh boy, just wait until dominion comes out. they’re supposed to connect even more severely
@@SilverscreenEdits13 really??? Ahh man can't wait!!
I literally had no idea they were connected. It makes it way better than just an alternative universe that I thought it was, love it!
I hope we get to see them get back home just find out that dinosuars are being spotted all over the world and they all meet up again to help contain the dinosuars outside their homes
that’d be amazing. the creators also said they’re going to start tying into dominion

Istg if they reference Camp Cretaceous is Dominion I’m gonna piss myself
I appreciate that while not being as graphic as the films, they at least show if not indirectly the events that happened instead of trying to sugar coat it.
Just randomly started the series because I recently watched Fallen Kingdom on TV and then discovered that a cartoon of Jurassic World exists. Didn’t have high expectations, but holy shit, it’s so good! I have to admit it took me a couple episodes to understand that the cartoon actually takes place at the same time as and even is directly connected to the movies and is not just an “alternative universe” thing; but when I did my mind was blown. Such a good cartoon, I’m amazed that it’s barely known.
You forgot the arrival of Masrani by helicopter
Quick question: How do you get the footage from Camp Cretaceous onto RUclips? Because everytime I put a clip into my video it gets taken down.
i give credit to netflix and dreamworks and mark it as not for kids as well as explain it’s not for kids due to the fact there’s violence (which is true)

Man I love Camp Cretaceous, it feels like a SW series without be one! It really complements the Story Between JW and FK so well
2:10 This guy could not get so unlucky, the Mosasaurus always had its food hanged, so it mistook the dude on the ladder as dinner.
That starting scene in fallen kingdom alway gives me chills. The absolute artwork of the cgi Rex, the kill of the mosasaurs, I am breathless
i love how giacchino put the exact same music from the fallen kingdom prologue in camp cretaceous when said scene happens from the kids perspective
I love how the show doesn’t shy away from acknowledging deaths. Like, yeah, it shows the actual kills mostly off screen, but the moments leading up to the deaths aren’t hidden and it’s clear what the kids are looking at.
Camp Cretaceous has turned out 1000x better than I expected, and I loved how subtle yet obvious their tie-ins were
Love how owen and claire showed their story then the kids had a chance to share their side of the story
1:20 DAMMMMMM Ima go to hell for laughing at this one
Man I want to see Owen in Camp Cretaceous
Same except I wanna see claire in her white dress and perfect hair and makeup just like the first portion of JW in cartoon form
The way they connect is amazing, it shows how dedicated they are.
NOTE: yes, the clip at the end is from Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. stop saying it’s not, when it is. I’m the one who had to skim through both films and all three seasons of the show to find it. Not you.

I played this for my toddler thinking it was a show for kids but now I’m watching each episode on my own. Amazing show!
Camp Cretaceous it's a bridge , it is connecting JW(movie) + JWFK(movie) + Camp Cretaceous + JWD(upcoming movie). I think we are going to see site b in season 4. Just saying my thoughts. Loved Camp Cretaceous ❤👌💖
You really did a great job of not only uploading it, but to put it side by side, really nice from your part :)

So it's like the Clone Wars but for Jurassic World
That's it. I'm just gonna admit it. Jurassic World/Park has by far one of the best cinematic universes ever and the creators do a GREAT job of tying together the events.
I love that. It gives the show more depth and makes me enjoy it more personally with all the Easter eggs
Holy Crap, talk about attention to detail! That is top quality fan service right there! XD
Its always cool when spin off media ties in with the main series, such as these moments or explanations of little things that add to the lore such as the compy’s having venomous bites like in the books which adds to that one guys death in lost world
I've always wanted to know and see the other character's eyes throughout movies. Like people screaming over a huge monster, the protagonist's army and how they fought against the evil dark side etc.
Can we all appreciate the great effort the writers and director put into the TV show to create side events that connect perfectly to the main ones from the movies?
I just love the idea that in fallen kingdom somewhere off camera some kids are just watching this guy getting eaten by the mosasaur
It's like watching Star Wars piece things together satisfyingly. This show is so good!
