Thanks Mukesh for making such nice and clear points about starting with Selenium , I would like to add one more point where people initiallly struggle is how to find the correct locator - how to write good xpath /css selectors - if you are good in identifying the elements - 60 percent of the job is nearly over in selenium .

Hi Rajib, You can try TagUI, PyAutoGUI for Python. Sikuli ,AutoIT, WinAppDriver, Winium these are for Java but all have some limitations.

Hi Ulisses, you can either use TDD or BDD. Selenium will remain the same but you can use Cucumber with Selenium or API or Mobile automation.

Hey Lakshmi, Good thing about Canada and USA is that they focus on your current skill not your degree. So if you learn everything and start applying then you can easily enter in IT companies. When it comes to which is easy language then its Python but when it comes to job opportunity its Java.

Hi sir, am an IT graduate. My career is not in IT field since 6 years after my pass out. I want to learn automation testing with java, so my questions are
1. is there any certification exam for this selenium
2. Can a fresher get a job in testing field who is not in IT field or any experience needed to crack a job in company
3. Most people saying Before going to selenium, must know the manual testing. Is this true?

Don’t worry.. Join with Manual Testing then you can work upon anything you want
Before starting Automation, first learn manual testing, gets hands on experience on it then learn automation tools. Just starts as early as possible, don't think about time passed.
