Hold Forward, then press Kick. Right before (or probably when) the kick connects, tap Guard. If you did it correctly, Jacky will quickly reset to a neutral position instead of following through the kick animation.

Either the series bring wing chun or more hybrid styles such as Choi Lei Fut, bartitsu, or kajukenbo.
In order for that to happen we need Virtua Fighter 6 to happen. So let's hope 5 US does well
