This is the “Should Christians Play” series where I, a legally blind preacher, reviews the moral and accessibility content in video games. In this Christian review, we go between the lines of the ratings of the ESRB, while asking the questions, should a Christian play and is this game accessible for me?

Should Christians play MK1?
Yes. Yes they should. If they want to. Play whatever you want! If you're not making idols of the characters or anything, you're good to go!
My pastor always said garbage in and garbage out. I have never once felt like being violent after playing MK as a Christian and I’ve playedMK since I was 5 years old. I know it’s fake. It’s a game. In that case, I shouldn’t watch any movies whatsoever and turn off my tv whenever commercials after a sports game break.

i disagree with a lot of the religious elements but i do like this video for getting to hear a blind person's perspective on the game because the accessibility parts of this game seemed pretty impressive to me but as im a person who can see i can't judge as well on how well they do help with being able to play the game

i remember when i was a teenager me watching videos about mortal kombat being one of the main factors in my family deciding i was demon possessed and trying to do exorcism to me, i don't think that by itself made me stop being religious but it definitely made any chance of me ever coming back evaporate
Jesus said that Christians would face many trials in their service of God. Just because your family did something like that to you doesn't mean that God would have wanted it to happen. What they did was obviously extreme. Jesus never would have tried to perform an exorcism on you simply for liking a game. I sincerely hope and pray that you may come to forgive your family for doing that to you and that you may come back to the Lord. He would forgive you in an instant. God be with you. ✌️

I was hoping to find a debate on whether christian's should play or not?
I presented the case for reasons why people should or should not play. I left it up to each person's discernment to decide what is good for them, by showing what content is in the game and showing how it could be a spiritual deal breaker or not, based on what tempts them. I used to be a huge fan of the old MK. Loved the original story and played only MK 1-8 but only followed the storylines starting from MK 9. I have no desire to play it now. The story isn't good anymore or anything new. I feel like you ain't missing much these days when it comes to MK. I thank God I no longer really care for it anymore.

Why should anything be made Christian accessible? Ya'll don't make anything accessible for LGBTQ or anyone that doesn't agree with your religious stance. This video is pathetic.
As a Christian, Ignore this shit man, play what you want. Also just know that not all Christians are judgmental. My whole family is very Christian but we accept all that includes LGBTQ+ individuals. We preach on love one another, sadly only some of us actually follow through.
First, we never said it should be made for Christians, we just wondered if our morals allowed us to play this game. Second, why on earth are you here? Just to bother Christians who don't agree with your stances or beliefs. If you were in the right you would probably try to reason with people who disagree with you, but instead you had to target a Christian video because you are so full of the devil's hate.
