This game feels like it was inspired by paper mario, and I love it. The soundtrack and the characters feel like they were ripped straight out of the paper mario series and it is wonderful.

This is a platformer. Not an obby. Tower world is meant to be an obby game and of course there are significant differences. A REAL obby game uses standard roblox walkspeed, jump and animations and has typically slower pace gameplay. Some examples would be Juke's Tower of Hell (Inspired Tower World) and yes it is extremely NOT beginner friendly and the (starter places) are made back in like 2016 so its gonna look bland. The point is also to test your endurance with little to no checkpoints so you will probably have to restart when u fail. I want to see how you would review the game Jtoh which inspired tower world. Do remember there is an area called Forgotten Ridge in Ring 1 that you can access with no requirements and Paradise Atoll in Zone 1 that you can access with no requirements too.

I think a good way to fix the issue of some people not wanting to sit through 80 things before getting to the good part is to take even more inspiration from Metroid. Give the player all the resources and mobility options at the beginning of the game to get them hooked on the movement, then at some point, find a way to take all of them away, thus giving you more incentive to get them all back.
Tbh eclipse was giving the worse takes. Like he says theres no reset buttons, he didn’t even try all of the parts and game modes that the game offers, he didn’t even take a notice of why the game why paid access when it was at the title of the game, not to mention his hate for you can cancel the zipline instead saying its a skill issue. To cover all of that up he just says the dev should make the game better for no explanation.

totally understand how you feel about metroid style games where you have to find specific things to get the ball rolling. there's a specific way to do it that makes something that should be tedious and annoying actually fun. super metroid even back on the snes gets the ball rolling very quickly and gets a pass for limiting you because you're also focused on being enamored by the world and exploration. if a game doesn't have a dense world to do this style of gameplay in, then you really are just backtracking and limiting options for no real reason other than "that's how other games do it" without understanding exactly why. game still looks amazing and cute though so i will definitely try
i think you should try parkour reborn! its technically a "platformer" because you parkour on stuff but it takes heavy inspiration from games like mirrors edge and isnt much like the platformer games youve played at all. imo its one of the best games on roblox currently. it cost 349 robux but is becoming free in November.

Why though? The empires update was almost exclusively dedicated to clans, which, if you aren’t a competitive pvper, means nothing more than an easier time grinding some reagents. The updates before that didn’t change/improve enough to be worthy of his attention either, prominent example of this being storyline lv requirements being removed despite quests still having them, effectively forcing you to backtrack for important quests like Enizor’s if you decide to just proceed. The endgame is still nothing more than banging your head against a wall trying to hit agonizing droprates or begging someone to invite you to their elysium server in the discord
Eclipse, theres this game called acelledrome, which i would believe should have more attention, since its one of the few racing games which i truly had fun, its still kinda wonky but its much better than those generic racing games

Eclipse, if you like this game I highly recommend that you play Doodle World. The art style is very similar and it has an original soundtrack! Though it's a Pokemon like game rather than a platformer (and it's story isn't great).
The developer also made a game called super doomspire. It feels like an upgraded doomspire and has unique movement and tech. It's really fun and i reccomend you check it out 💯
Jeez this game reminds me of 2 things. First, those old Roblox obby games, especially that Mario obby game, that used flat PNGs. Second, the Easter egg hunt (I forgot what year), where the game used Mario Odyssey movement to find eggs. Man what a ratatouille moment to be experiencing old aspects of Roblox today.
