I wonder if you'd like the PvZ Garden Warfare games. those might be worth checking out, they scratch the hero shooter itch for me personally, since all the characters aren't as spongey (or at least you can kill them faster).

@@LordFerbombi great to hear! you should prob play on console though, they're having technical difficulties on PC at the moment due to dev tools getting leaked on that platform.
also, I recommend the second game, many agree it's the best one in the series.
