@@mattcoe8305 Actually, what I don't quite understand is that the three crossings north of Dereham station, which are hardly ever used by trains, have gates, whereas the two south of the station, which are used a few times a week, are ungated.
Greens Road, Dereham, Norfolk. Maybe it's spelled the American way for trademark reasons? "Plumbing Centre" with the British spelling couldn't be trademarked because it's just a generic description of what the business does, like "supermarket" or "carpenter".
@@TheManWhoMadeThe47I think you want two to get up to line speed, but due to the age of the coaching stock they can't use the engine at the rear since there is no control wire connecting the two. The one on the back is literally just there to do reversing movements without taking the time to shunt around.
It's a Diesel Gala Day ,Where I stay outside Edinburgh there is a place called Bo'ness in Scotland not far from Polmont and linlithgow and it is a heritage line that does the same thing .
Loco on the rear would certainly be being dragged (not providing any traction), I suspect that as the crew of the second loco up front were traveling in the rear cab that they wouldn't either, leaving the leading loco to do all of the work.
0:16 If you listen, you can hear Yaxham Road in the distance, as it is literally just 1 minute away.
The driver of the Volvo mumtruck almost let their intrusive thoughts win 😂
👍I saw that too..
A new alarm here aswell & it sounds nice :)
Both dodgy alarms were replaced, here & at Yaxham road!
I love heritage railways
The 4th carriage came complete with a thatched roof ! 😀
The lights stops flashing just before the diesel passed through
Yes all the passengers were looking out in disbelief, saying “ why haven’t network rail installed barriers, good job the locos were at shunting speed
Three locos to haul five nearly empty coaches !
I swear the class 57 sounds exactly like the EMD engine sound in Trainz…
Well, it does have an EMD 12-645 engine in it so...
cool train video
Cool Video ❤
Why does it take three locomotives to shunt 5 carriages?
Super. 💙 T.E.N.
It sounds like barmouth south's old alarm
Christ, I can't believe that in 2023, we still have level crossings over roads, which have no barriers!
It is only a heritage line running a few trains a week.
People still dodge barriers, even crash through them. These crossings are perfectly safe as long as people comply with the lights.
There are flashing lights and warning “buzzers”. You could always use your eyes!

Where is this? The plumbing centre is spelt the American way!

Mid Norfolk Railway , East Dereham
"Greens Road AOCL LC"
- Which is where ?
On Greens Road in Dereham, Norfolk
Why are there three locomotives?
Fun, it's a heritage railway so sometimes they do stuff like this

If only the national rail system ran with such efficiency. LOL

?
That really needed a clean up. Very tatty
Three polluting diesel engines, really necessary, or are two just in tow?

Hi Greta , yes They are absolutely necessary for the full clag experience but you should be quite safe in your safe space. .
They are not polluting just absolutely necessary!! India, USA, Russia & China are a few of the real polluters!!!!
@@mickd6942 haha well said
@@mickd6942 excellent comment sir.
...and the point of this is ???
It's a rarity of course.
To annoy you.
Why didn't the barriers come down?; lastly why do Class 37 locomotives sound like a rapid succession of farts?
its an ungated crossing hence those crosses above each light
@@welshfurrygaming69Those crosses look a bit like those novelty boomerang things you get from seaside gift shops!
