It's harder to be a sniper in squad than it is in real life due to constantly being kicked from a team because you took the sniper slot.
that and because the scopes don't actually zoom in properly
The best way to tell if a SL is good is if they don't let a marksman in their squad.

@@Christian-jr1gn While marksmen can be able to help a squad with callouts and enemy positions on the map they're usefulness is nowhere near as much as all the other kits. Their play style is too niche. An effective machine gunner can do a similar job to a marksman while also being able to have many more uses.
The Middle East Escalation mod has absolutely tripled my want to play squad. Being a console player, I don't have much in way of Milsim games, but MEE seems like so much fun.
I usually snipe in these games and it just looks like so much fun with all that open space and long range distances where the long rifles can really shine
as a seasoned played, dont let a youtubers gameplay fool you. Theres a lot of crap SL's, theres alot of not knowing what your doing or where you are going. Theres a lot of spawning and dying

Sniper probably wasn't taken because the reticle is extremely blurry on every faction I've tried it on. That intro was awesome lol

@@mista6bullets284 FOV is default, which is the lowest, and we tried AA and it did nothing. Everyone on all the MEE servers I've played on complains about it so I think it is just a mod issue for certain factions. It is also a problem on the Grenadier ACOG for a faction I forgot.

Sniper also does the same damage as the marksman and spotter kit, but is bolty instead of semi auto, so just more worth to go marksman or spotter

Been loving MEE myself but my only issue is the complete removal of the suppresion system. I know it makes it more realistic but I find it can be very frustrating getting shot without knowing which direction. Love all the kits and uniforms tho, really spices up gameplay from normal Squad

One thing I concerned about modded sqaud game is, that it often contains number of suppressor, either silencer in them which doesn’t fit to the game design. I persoanlly didn’t get to play these modded games but I’m pretty sure that suppressor will give too much power to small number of players, or certain faction.
It really does not effect gameplay negatively, it's hardly noticeable. You can still hear the gunshots if you know what to listen for.

bro after 2.12 im getting 40-50 avg fps lowest possible settings on 720p thanks devs, before 2.12 i got like 70-80 fps medium settings on 1080p, also i don't like new map update, squad is the game i fall in love in last year i mean i just fking enjoyes soo much, anyway i waited did some benchmarks with fresh windows+squad install with some tweaks but no luck, hey moidawg i love u your vids are awesome to look at, if you ever ever meet a squad devoloper tell them "you think short" i missed squad, GG

How do you view the player model for each class? Is that only available on a custom server?
When you are in the selection screen there should be 3 options at the top, click the middle one. it shows you the player model and the equipment each role gets

MEE is garbage. When you see server owners only playing one side, it becomes obvious that it's designed to favor one side and players are only playing to get a chance to not be an insurgent the next game. Your chance of being insurgent is a lot higher because admins are placing their friends on the side with scopes.
If you see any of our admins doing that, please let me know. We make sure to balance the server and give everyone a chance to play with the fun toys.
And the MEINS and FSA are pretty damn fun to play too, for what it's worth.
Yeah the insurgent side is definitely the least desirable side to play as, can be rough playing as them. Would be nice to be PMC, or nation with optics vs nation with optics to make it a bit more even/fun
I actually complained about this when MEE came out. I would literally play for like 5 hours and would get 0 times on BLUFOR. After that I just never came back as it was pointless to try...
