Jhalana Leopard Reserve in Jaipur is absolutely wonderful destination, however Leopard Capital and Kingdom of India is Jawai Hills National Park at Pali District in Rajasthan State. Jawai Hills is also home to Black Sloth Bear Sanctuary. Documented in National Geographic and Discovery Channels as well.
Wow. Amazing you got to see that leopard. Must have been a powerful experience? Amazing work those guys are doing and was such a well put together vlog. Very professional and informative. Visit West Bengal. We've one of the most diverse ecosystem of wildlife here. Tiger, leopard, one horned rhino, different types of deers, bison and much more that I don't know of.
You're fairly close to a whole bunch of wildlife sanctuaries, sariska and ranthambore are a couple of hours away. From ranthambore you could hop across to kuno where cheetahs from your part of the world are being relocated. A few hours from there would be shivpuri , then a few hours to panna and then 4 hrs to kanha. They're all fairly magnificent forested areas and most are tiger reserves as well.
Yessss going to Gir soon! Really excited for this! 😁 but not sure how I feel about the introduction of the African cheetah subspecies in India. The big cats are already facing quite some pressures

Thank you for mentioning tigers. I think they are overlooked or forgotten because there are so few left. Would it benefit the reserve to have a goat, pig breeding farm and let a certain amount free in the reserve from time to time to keep the cats fed?
Not sure I mentioned tigers here. And I would not agree with the breeding farms. I think the issue is more displacement due to infringement on natural areas.

As well as the problems we have with elephants, I have seen many videos of leopards or tigers attacking villages in India. I don't know if the Indian government is looking for solutions for that. But the Sri Lankan government never looked at the problem seriously... I have said this before that you are more of an explorer than a tourist.
Yes Government of India has taken measures to protect Cattle Livestock's and Human Life from conflict with Wild Animals.
