I am replacing my wifes battery today on a 2012...I have the cover off just wanted to verify if there was anything non-standard...the drain tube was interesting...glad to see the secondary bolt on the red cover does not need to be removed...I was gonna remove it....thanks a lot. I noticed...a battery positioned inside the car under covers...totally clean and no corrosion on it. Working on a car in the dark...you are dedicated.
Thanks to your video I was able to get the battery out with no problems. Good news is my battery was frozen so for those who having problems starting their cars this could be a easy fix too. Keep the battery inside overnight and put it back in the day after 👍.
@@gavrilovas1 hey Alexey, I did something pretty stupid in my CT200H. I disconnected the battery to hook it up to a battery maintainer for winter storage... First time I did it. Problem... I closed the trunk, and it won't open since there is no battery.... Do you know if there is an emergency latch from inside the vehicle I can access? I can't find anything online or in the manual.
@@Xianxin hey Daniel, one solution that worked for me was to jump start the ct 200h with another vehicle. I unlocked the car and popped the trunk open to access the jump start battery infront.

Check your local auto parts store ... O'Reily's, AutoZone, advanced discount auto parts and ask for a special battery for Lexus hybrid ct200h it will cost you around 300 dollars...

Just swapped mine out today! Only had to set my radio stations again and correct the clock that was 20 minutes behind.
How much was the special battery 🔋 🤔... they expensive... mine was around 350 bucks...
I ended up getting it at Walmart because Costco didn’t have one in stock. $197 with a 4 year warranty.

Maybe only if you replaced rebuild hybrid large battery otherwise most like no vehicle onboard computer reset not required..
