- President Donald Trump and the first lady are paying their respects at the grave of an unknown British warrior who is buried at Westminster Abbey.
Trump and Melania Trump were greeted inside the abbey by Prince Andrew and clergy.
They stood silently at the tomb of the British soldier whose body was brought from France to be buried at the abbey in November 1920. The grave contains soil from France and is covered by a slab of black marble.
The president and first lady prayed and bent down to touch a colorful wreath, which had red and white roses and bright blue and pink flowers.
During Trump’s trip to Europe, he will be commemorating the 75th anniversary of D-Day.
Queen Elizabeth II is giving President Donald Trump and first lady Melania Trump a look at items in the Royal Collection, one of the largest collections of art and other objects in the world.
Some of the exhibits Trump is seeing in a pink gallery are items with a special historical significance to the United States.

I just knew Queen Elizabeth three years ago that she helped fix military trucks, equipment, vehicles etc etc during war time...thanks to internet, and films, Salute Queen Elizabeth.
Its times like this where I have to sadly shake my head at the crappy US media that keeps trying to remind us that our President does not appear Presidential. I have watched this trip and the air time given to it by the BBC and I have seen a very Presidential appearance at each step of the way. I am glad to hear that there are those in the UK who are glad to see out President visit as we are to have him make the trip. This was a glorious reminder of the link our two countries have had should be a lesson learned that while we had a difference of opinion that caused use to step away and form our own country we have never forgotten out links to the UK nor the history we have shared since then and how we have always been deeply bound to each other and hope that that is something that never, ever fails us. The cheers of "USA, USA" could not help but raise a lump in the throats of us that remember the historical nature of our commitment to each other and how soldiers, pilots, marines and sailors on both sides of the ocean have come together many. many times to to protect freedoms and reject tyranny when it has raised its ugly head.
