Great video my man. I only just watched Arcane not too long ago yet you made me realise a lot more about the depth of these two characters that I only looked at from a surface level. Vander is my favourite character in the series, so I appreciate the amount of time you gave to him, especially after his death to show how he was still an important figure in this world for these characters even if he's no longer physically present. Amazing stuff man!
My friend recommended this to me and she told me Silco was her favourite. When watching i was so confused like i could see but i kept thinking it doesn't make sense, until of course his death changed that. Weirdly enough my favourite character was Vander
I'm much opinion silco from the beginning was both a better father and leader than vendor you'll just biased becuase he walks and talks like a cartoon villan.
Eh, Silco didn't die protecting Jinx, he died because violence is how he solves his problems, which got him shot by Jinx. Silco may not have been willing to hand Jinx over to Jayce and the Council, but Jinx already took that decision out of his hands. Same with Vander, his unwillingness to fight made him vulnerable to Silco. Vi's botched robbery of Jayce's penthouse was not Silco's doing, nor was heavy handed collective punishment f the under-city. There are parallels but from what I interpret it is as their roles as failed revolutionaries through the role fatherhood. Vander became a community leader with a philosophy of family, "no one get left behind, look out for each other." The undercity was internally strong, but weak to Piltover's whims. Silco's "Let the monster out" philosophy made the Zaun less vulnerable to Piltover's whims, but so internally broken Jinx didn't trust him, and his entire operation was made vulnerable by his raging niece, all concluding in a tea party he set the stage for 7 year previous.
it hits even more when you realise now that they both knew Vi and Powder's mother.. and they were all very close
Another incredible video. Arcane was my favorite new show of last year; an absolutely masterpiece.
