It follows the movement. Built in AI detects a body or face and tracks within 10 meters or 30 feet. The remote is just incase you want to control it further however that would be awesome if it did follow the remote

Hello There's a you tuber called anglerodUK who films all his fishing videos using a much more advanced AI system that tracks etc but also zooms out when he casts his rod and zooms in afterwards to get a better shot of him. Thanks for this Danny. I am thinking this would be great to use on the top of my camera and put the shotgun mic on it. That way, regardless of whether I am in front of the camera or behind it, the audio will be even...unlike now. :-) I just need a cold shoe mount to go between the camera and the device. Danny, I do excavation work and I wonder how close the tripod would have to be to my excavator for the automatic pan to work? What I really need is a rotator that would point towards the remote. Hey Danny I'm a surfer based down in Victoria. Essentially it's bloody cold here for 2/3 of the year and not alot of people are keen to stand around and film (particularly when there's good waves). I'd be interested to use something like this for surfing with my gopro and/or regular digital camera.Is there a distance limit on the face/body tracking? The idea would be to set it up on the beach and paddle out, film a couple of waves. Let me know cheers 🤙

I'm using the tracking telesin that comes with light, cellular mount and tripod (ball head is week), so when tracking and stops just shakes (maybe due the weight of the lights) so the video doesn't look good. Any flexible tripod with the quality sturdy? I have seen reviews about the new jody 3k and 5k and it looks like they broke fast. Any recommendation? Thanks

Try the Blink Focos for Soccer and Basketball. Its not perfect but it captures around 90% of the game. Right now it's only for iPhone. Still much better than manually filming games.
the only thing i can say is that if you put it on a tripod with a ball head you can make it side ways and go vertical... other than that, i think you might need a gimbal that does tracking. oh and so sorry for the late reply, im just not trying to get caught up on comments

this DJI does look really nice with the mobile phone. its a bit pricey but does a lot of cool stuff with it. There is another version of this tracker on that camgo site that is more geared to mobile phones and actually connects to track certain people. I haven't had the best luck with mobile gimbals, they either break or just a pain to set up for a quick moment. But that magnetic snap on looks awesome! ill have to look into it when I upgrade my phone

It has a hard time tracking both faster objects as well as multiple objects. It struggles with faster objects (indoors) because the Aperture on this CAMGO/TELESIN device itself is F2.8 or lower with a 1/3" sensor (I'm guessing), so it has to compensate with laggy shutter speeds; I guess probably around 1/30s or slower/longer. Outdoors with sunlight should be fine as the exposure will be good enough for the shutter speed to reach more suitably faster levels (all of this is done automatically by the device itself without manual control, of course). I've modded mine with a custom F1.4 1/2.5" CCTV C Mount lens, so mine actually performs a bit better indoors/lowlight. I will soon upgrade to an F1.2 or F1.0 lens after those arrive by mail. As for multiple subjects, it has a hard time knowing who to stick to. There is no "predictive" type AI. There only seems to be a "reactive" human-shape-tracking AI/algorithm on-board. For example, while testing in my living room, it kept switching to my girlfriend who was sitting still on the couch; meanwhile, I was walking and strafing side-to-side as the main movement. Additionally, it lost me near the mirror closet and TV due to the reflections of myself in both, haha 😂 That being said, I do like the device. You simply need to know under what circumstances would be best to rely on it. Additionally, my lens upgrade has definitely helped with the smoothness and overall stickiness of the device 👍🏻
If you were playing hockey with a bunch of people it would have trouble. It’s only good for solo. There is a decent products where you wear a tracker and it follows that. But a little more expensive
So there is a time lapse setting. I can’t remember off the top of my head but it does say in the instructions . You set it with the remote … (did that answer your question ??)

What setting did u use to film the time lapse, I have this product and csnt get it to keep turning in motion, it stops after doing a full 360
So there is a time lapse setting. I can’t remember off the top of my head but it does say in the instructions . You set it with the remote … (did that answer your question ??)

It does not go up and down unfortunately. For something like that you would need a gimbal that follows. Or the obsbot
