Haha!! Sheep and donkeys are prone to be named on the fly according to the announcer's wit and sense of spectator approval for entertainment purposes. Ed Montana announcing the Coors Cowboy Club, Saint's Roost and Clarendon ranch rodeos is somewhat gifted in that respect. Broncs and bulls, on the other hand, tend to earn their names due to respect for their performance reputations in both ranch and professional rodeo circuits.

You will both have a great experience and be sure to get someone to record a video to document the experience! I will give you both a tip. Watch a few videos, mine or others, and see for yourself what riding styles work best for the longest and safest rides. Riding sheep is different from riding horses and cattle.

If you watch more mutton bustin' videos you will see that many kids will ride backwards because it distributes their weight better and the hindquarters are easier to hang on to.
