  • Have you looked at Bond's home in Jamaica and wondered, how did they pull that off? Well, THEY are Neal Callow (Art Director for NTTD) and Raquel Parke (Art Department NTTD) who take me through some incredible stories of concept to delivery in creating the world we see Bond in! Hear how design, furniture, and PROPS are chosen for the world's most famous secret agent. Pour yourself a rum, grab a rattan chair, and prepare yourself for the ride....

The Jamaica scenes for me were the best in the movie. Bond off the grid. As I have said, I wish they spent more time in the movie of Bond in retirement in Jamaica.

NTTD is by far the most stylish Bond movie since Connery. Such incredible visuals regardless of plot etc

We need a directors cut released with the added scenes!!! In particular the edit at the end that has Bond escaping and going back to finish his book.

There is NO reason why Bond should not have escaped. I'm still angry about it...

I have been waiting so long to talk about the art direction and the Jamaica house, it is easily my favorite part of the movie. Can’t get enough of “everyday James Bond” excellent video !

There was something , in the sensation of the Jamaican section, the club, boozing, trying to drive home, showering under the waterfall, it was rustic, outdoors, not caring about germs.

That was really fascinating to hear those two, talk about what goes into the making of a James Bond film! it was really mind blowing to be honest and it does you god to get a snipet of an understanding as you begin to appreciate all the efforts of all involved! Thank you David ever so much I throughly enjoyed it and will rewatch it to get anything I might have missed perhaps?

Outstanding show! Enjoyed your guests very much. One of the best. Cool hearing how the designers created Bond’s world and reached back to the Fleming books and other films. The Jamaica scenes are some of my all time favorites. I particularly enjoyed how NTTD really captured the iconic ambiance of Bond in Jamaica. Cool Hearing about the Fleming chair! More like this David. Thanks for all you do!😎

That was a fascinating insight into the detail. I really feel for these guys that put so much effort into every infinitesimal detail, only to have it not filmed, hidden, or cut out altogether. Reconciling that professionalism with perhaps a philosophical approach to the end result is something I would need to practice at! Great interview.

The location is Cocoa Walk Bay. The house was torn down after filming because a dispute with the land owner. You can take a boat to swim there and it’s beautiful since the fresh water and ocean water meet. Port Antonio is an amazing place to visit with beautiful people, music, food and natural gems.

I still can't believe they referenced "We have all the time in the world" from HMSS and I still didn't realize he was going to die at the end. I had no idea, matter of fact I'm pretty sure he ducked behind that rock and lived. He was discovered by some Tibetan Monks and nursed back to health. But the Monks had never seen a westerner and didn't know how to put him back together, so he looks different now, you won't even recognize him in the next Bonding.
