16:01 Something you forgot to mention about that Escalade crash is that George Balhan wasn't actually driving the truck at that event. Charlie Pauken was behind the wheel when the crash happened and it got him the 2009 Crash Madness award at the Monster Jam awards ceremony after that year's World Finals.
Lee O'Donnell said that he remembered that flip when he went for the front flip during WF2017. And that he and Charlie had talked about trying to recreate that same flip with taller or steeper ramps in a freestyle. Took close to a decade for someone to finally get it.
Ironically, I was not only at both the Avenger WF7 & Captain's Curse WFX crashes, I was at the same side of the stadium. I was at the backend of the double jump, so Curse crashed 50-100ft away from me. The funny thing is he was in the 1 minute click for the championship race because they had to bleed his brakes right before the race. He passed the safety test, but obviously it wasn't enough. Kudos to Alex for trying to turn it to try and not turn the way into a ramp where I don't want to imagine what would've happened then.
I was there at the Arlington show, it was my first monster jam show, and I still remember my dad buying us nosebleed seats because of how much I wanted to go. I never forgot that crash but I did not know till now how relevant that crash is in monster jam history. Thank you for the video
I stopped watching monster jam around 2014 when I ditched cable. Always missed watching it and thanks to diecast, my interest is reinvigorated as I’ve missed so much. Thanks for having this channel, it’s been very entertaining.
Yeah especially since Pam Vahle had to go to the hospital because of the Boogey Van crash. It's so weird how both right wheels broke off of Boogey Van like that though.
@@fernandolomas6635 obviously technological advances and safety had changed and gotten better in that 20-year time frame. Obviously the trucks weren't as safe in the 90s as they were and still are in the more recent years
I grew up playing the monster truck games but didn't know any of these trucks were REAL trucks. Can you imagine the excitement I've having right now seeing MONSTER patrol and Boogie Van in real life???
I’d want to see a 10 Destructive Runs video. That way, you could include runs like Monster Mutt at WF 7, or Max D at Atlanta 2008. Because even if the destruction isn’t limited to a single moment, there are plenty of runs where you just wonder how the poor truck is still moving.
#1 would have to be Neil Elliott in Maximum Destruction at New Orleans 2008. By the time the truck finally stopped he'd ripped the body off, blown every shock, and nearly torn the cradle completely in half, among a laundry list of other pieces of carnage. They almost literally had to cart the remains of the truck off the stadium floor in a wheelbarrow and, to top it all off, the run won the 2008 Crash Madness award. From start to finish it was Maximum Destruction in every sense of the word.
@@furioussherman7265 Probably didn’t help that Grave Digger hit it either. ruclips.net/video/TK8mmwVzAU8/видео.html I watched what clips I could find. Definitely wish it was televised.
I was sitting in the top row on the right left side of the stadium about mid way of the track at world finals 20. My first world finals and boy I wasn't disapointed. Camden's crash will forever hold a memory in my mind. Out of the 13 shows i've been to my entire life (most of them being speedway shows and this was my second ever stadium show) it was the most destroyed truck i've ever seen in person.
Here are some crashes you should add in part 2 Scarlet badit world finals 9 Predator Jacksonville 2004 Wrenchead world finals 2 And the patriot Anaheim 2009
Great vid! It would be pretty cool to do a video of crashes from the older series like you said, because those series had some pretty gnarly wrecks too
Please show a top 10 TNT Motorsports Monster Truck Challenge Craziest Crashes of all time list, Jackson. I grew up watching both the Powertrax and TUFF TRAX racing series and I loved that action. Stay blessed, my bro!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I talked to Cynthia about that crash at last years Monster Jam in Philly. I also asked her about the Titan games. She told me she competed on the Titan Games with a broken foot. Later on my mind put 2 and 2 together and it turns out that crash at the all star challenge actually broke her foot
The miss the Pontiac Silver dome (definitely dont miss its location though, Pontiac is sketchier than Detroit is) but the Dome was *MASSIVE* it might have been the largest stadium that Monster Jam ran besides Sam Boyd Stadium
17:26 OMG I was there when that happened! I think I was at the 2011 show in Philadelphia too. I remember Madusa saying she was gonna try to get her truck back together in time for freestyle. Neither my father or myself saw that happening though. Thanks for sharing that clip though!!
Bro thank you so much for this video I try to find where the bulldozer crash happened then I couldn't find it and now that you showed me it I now can just research and try to finally find it because I cannot find it on RUclips. The arlington crash for the 1st spot is a amazing one. Great video and thank you again.
the Max D wreck from Arlington 2011 is the crash that made me watch monster jam as a kid to where for the next 3 years we went to Monster Jam in Arlington
My favorite crash is Pablo Huffaker and Blacksmith at World Finals II (which was shown in the outro). I definitely think Pablo would've beaten Tom Meents for the Racing title even with the moved starting line due to the water leak in Thunder Alley.
Madusa/grinder Philly 2012 and 2011, both so close in nature it was like a mirror image. Same lane in racing to, I'll never forget it. I'm commenting at the beginning hoping it makes the list.
I happen to live about twenty minutes away from Tom Meentz's base of operations and on occasion while passing through Paxton I have seen some gnarly wreckage outside of his shop.
I remember boogey van's, blue thunder, king crunch and el toro loco. The one that always sticks out for me is Blacksmith's from the very first world finals.
I fell so bad for the driver of boogey van and king krunch and titan, Like they all got hurt and had some injuries but one memorable moment is this… R.I.P King Krunch’s Chassis
Here's some suggestions for part 2 Ryan Anderson's crash in the 30th anniversary encore that left him injured Steve Sims front flip crash in wf9 Cam McQueen's reverse backflip attempt at wf15 Maximum Destruction in 2008 where everything was broken(forgot show) Adam Anderson's racing crash in wf9-wf10?
havent watch monster jam in years, fun to see the stuff i remember in the 2000s and see some of the new stuff ive missed. i will say a lot was ruined due to the blurred out video of each crash. kinda spoiled what was gonna happen for people who havent seen it.
I truly love that you got the old monster jam video game music playing in the background 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🤟🏿🤟🏿
Same
It’s for on monster jam path of destruction

Might I mention that crash from Cynthia gauthier bent her Chassis in the crash?

Honestly i'm suprised Titan's driver didn't get badly hurt. that crash was crazy.

Awesome video! I’ve been so hyped for it. Would LOVE to see this as a series!
We Definitely need a Part 2 to this. I mean I Love Monster Jam all the way and it doesn't get any better without the Crazy Crashes we now see
Oh yeah, part 2 would be insane!

You must be really young but yeah I get what you mean monster jam was the best between 2003 and 2013 that was the best decade

Yeah I feel some of these runs get forgotten about since they either didnt fill the clock or hit all the obstacles
Goldberg WF1 FS wasn’t even a honorable mention?!?!??!? Better be in a part 2 then!
The Escalade crash led to Charlie Pauken breaking his hand
I WAS AT THE 2011 SHOW!!! it was amazing everyone was standing and yelling! So amazing seeing this and remembering the feelings.
Wow!!! At Least everyone, walked away. Metro Detroit Loves you guys!!! G

Best Monster Trucks channel on RUclips
Great video, love the content!
17:58 was my first monster jam event, here I am 10 years later about to go UNOH and hopefully be a part monster jam one day
Another great video man! I actually was at both World Finals X and XV and got pics of both Captain's Curse's and Titan's crashes.
Here are some crashes you should add in part 2
Scarlet badit world finals 9
Predator Jacksonville 2004
Wrenchead world finals 2
And the patriot Anaheim 2009
Great vid! It would be pretty cool to do a video of crashes from the older series like you said, because those series had some pretty gnarly wrecks too
Love your videos sir ❤️
I would love to see 10 more crashes and a video showcasing penda and independent crashes !!
Kinda surprised Taz’s crash at WF10 racing wasn’t on here. Don’t think anyone could forget that one.
yeah that one was wild
The 2000s was defiantly an Era where the most Extreme Truck crashes happen. Always.
This video was honestly so good wtf loved all the research and background info on everything. Keep it up
WF2 black smith I think definitely should be here as it's one of the most memorable.
My favorite part of Monster Jam

Pretty sick video. But I believe Boogey Van was a 1995 Ford Aerostar
Part 2 plz

Detroit always seems to have some wild monster jam shows

Lupe Soza drive Max-D 2 tines actually. Arlington and Foxboro 2015

Predators freestyle run in 2004 was a pretty good one too
Blue Thunder's crash from Orlando 2008 was a great one.

More please 🍿
Do a video of part 2 monster jam crashes one of them need to be gravediggers big air at monster jam world finals
I felt that Blue Thunder from Detroit in 2010 should have been an honorable mention. Though he didn’t flip, he did destroy the rear end.
Here's some suggestions for part 2
Ryan Anderson's crash in the 30th anniversary encore that left him injured
Steve Sims front flip crash in wf9
Cam McQueen's reverse backflip attempt at wf15
Maximum Destruction in 2008 where everything was broken(forgot show)
Adam Anderson's racing crash in wf9-wf10?
Sick☺😉😎😀
16:10 This isn't a true front flip, because he not only hit the ground before doing a full rotation, but it also bounced into another roll.
This is why I joined the community.
Blue thunder hit a sleep wheelie, walked on 2 wheels, and cartwheeled into some dumpsters
I was at the Detroit 2018 show
The path of destruction soundtrack tho!!
2:52 Ouch
The modern tracks look so empty and depressing compared to the early 2000’s tracks I grew up with

i will say a lot was ruined due to the blurred out video of each crash. kinda spoiled what was gonna happen for people who havent seen it.
I still have no idea how everyone is able to take all these hits and usually walk away like nothing happened
I was there at max d crash in Arlington #1 it was crazy you just heard the whole stadium erupt
Yes!
also the 1993 tampa grave digger accident where he lost his rear axle
3:10 i was there and that was crazy
now that there has been a silver Avenger, I'm surprised there's no gold Avenger.
What about the Max D New Orleans 2008 crash. ☹️
12:59 he apologized 😂😂😂
Bigfoot vs USA-1 great battles.
Aww yes the Sprouse goose
