Yeah I got glasses at eight. When I got them I kept telling my Dad “look at all the leaves, look at the mortar between the bricks, look at the telephone and electrical wires”. I didn’t know I couldn’t see those things unless I was right up on them. I think my Dad even cried because my parents hadn’t realized I couldn’t see. It was discovered at school when they brought in eye doctors to check all the students eye sight. I remember going to the eye doctor and the eye doctor asked me to read the smallest letters and I replied E. He looked at me and asked me to read the smallest letters and I said that’s all I can read from here. Yeah I was desperately needing glasses.
Isn’t it amazing how guilty we feel when we have to leave our precious babies behind. We have a confectionery three minutes from our home so if I went to pick something up I would be back in less than 20 minutes. When I’d get home my dog would greet me as if I’d been gone forever 😂. Nice to have that kind of love in your life.

I would always repeat the same phrase over and over again when I would leave my pets that way they knew what was going on and they knew I would be back I would always say mommy be back mommy be back.

But he knows that Jamie also has important appointments every now and then and he's a big boy, so he stays alone every now and then.🥰 I think he's making himself very comfortable in the living room or wherever and knows that Dad will be home again soon. I'm curious which model Doctor Jamie chose. No matter what it is, it will look very good anyway.😊 Sherpy's joy when he returns is so sweet. I really like his small and big stretchies. I always give my girls a treat as I leave, too, which isn't real often. It makes it easier for me & a reward for them for understanding I'm leaving. They get one when I get home & let them out, too.

Glasses are fun; I got glasses a couple of months before my 30th birtday😂 after having trouble seeing things for a couple of years 🙈 I'm going to my parents tomorrow for the first time after my mums dog passed. One of the other dogs my parents have, is the daughter of the one that passed away on wednesday. She misses her dad, so I am spending some time with her

It is hard to leave them. I work from home, so me and my cat are together 24/7, spend more time with him than my hubby! I got glasses when I was 5. I got my first progressive bifocals when I was 28---courtesy of side effects of my daily medication.

It is hard to leave them. I work from home, so me and my cat are together 24/7, spend more time with him than my hubby! When I have to go out I tell him how long I will be (still talking about my kitty) and I always tell him I love him before I go, even though he’s normally asleep. 🤓welcome to the club Jamie
