Hey brother, been watching your vids ever since i purchased my 1301 tactical, great vids. Im asking you for prayer for my wife, she had breast cancer twice and now the cancer moved to her lungs.. shes currently going through chemo. Thx bros
I'm so sorry to hear that. I just prayed for you and your wife. For God's healing power to pour over her. For God's provision in your finances and daily needs. For God's love to surround you both in your family and friends. God bless you, brother.
Nice vid! My only concern would be if the shell rims catch on each other when pulling one out, given how close the shells are to each other compared to the esstacs. Have you ran into this problem while at the range? Thanks
New viewer you got my attention for sure I’ve subscribed keep on what you’re doing. It’s very entertaining, and the videos are high-quality in my opinion. Love the editing you do on them and the little bit of jokes you throwing
Please keep up the fighting shotgun content. It is both informative and enjoyable. We often get caught up in the orthodoxy and if we are not "Running or rocking" a certain piece of equipment, we are clearly incompetent and dangerous. I will take a look at Grim Hunter Tactical!!!! Thank you!!!!!!
@yourfavoritelibertarian - thanks for the videos, I have been doing a lot of the same adds to my 1301 MOD2 as well. I have noticed that Federal 00 buck shells only allow for 6 shells, have you found a brand of ammo that will allow for 7 to be stored in the shell tube on the 1301? I already upgraded the follower with a GG&G part to save a little space but it did not do much.
Happy to! I removed the plastic plug at the end of my American mod1 gen3 and can now get 7 in there, so I haven't had to look for other brands of ammo. I'd recommend buying 5rd boxes of a bunch of different buckshot to see what fits the best and shoots the best.
Buy with caution when dealing with Grim Hunter tactical. I decided to try their shotgun shell holder and waiting all most 4 week before shipping. once I received my holder it did not come with the velcro attachment. I sent Grim hunter an email and they sent me an email saying they will ship out the velcro attachment, 3 weeks later I still have not received my velcro. I consider this buy a loss and will never deal with Grim Hunter again.
That sucks man. I was just DMing another guy who's still waiting on his cards. Are there any other companies that you'd want me to reach out to for test samples? I'd be happy to provide alternatives, but I can't until I test them, obviously.
It is a good thing they sent yours to you because after checking the web the 8-12 weeks lead time listed on the site (which is by no means acceptable for items of this nature) have gone over 6 months!! Not going to try..........
Same, after watching the review I would have loved to order some myself. But after seeing the possibility of 8-12 weeks lead time, that is just unacceptable imo.
Sadly, I bought some without researching the Grim Tactical enough. It’s been over 3 months now and I know some guys have been waiting longer. My fault for not reading the wait times but for a basic order of 3 cards, ridiculous. Would never recommend Grim Tactical for this reason.
The grim card looks like it would fit way better on the Velcro you removed on your stock. Small and more rigid. Also, is reloading the card just as easy as the esstac’s? “Buy a shot gun” ;)
My man! Watch til the end squaaaaad. It's a little harder to load individual shells into the GHT cards since the loops are closer together and the card has less give in general.
I got savior equipment shotgun cards , plus I have esstac cards as well the savior has a much harder backing and I prefer them over the esstac, but I might buy some of those grim tactical ones
Took a long hard look at GHT and liked their product line a lot! Their stated excessively long wait times make their products almost completely out of reach. You mentioned the wait times may be even longer due to a facility move? To add to the wait, they clearly stated all products were non-returnable and on pre-order status and all sales were final. I liked the shotgun shell cards and the 36-shell shotgun chest rig and was ready to order, but... Have you evaluated any other gear available in a reasonable time frame? Please keep up the fighting shotgun content!
Here is an easy fix for the Esstac cards. If you have them then you know the curling issue. This is simple and it seems to be working. I used strong hair ties, but zip ties or whatever you come up with will work. So Load them, work the first and last shell holder in the opposite direction of the curling, then roll them up in the opposite direction of the curling as tight as possible. Then secure them this way and leave them. You will need to really work the first and last shell holder. But after a day of being rolled up. They will lay flat. I will still be ordering some Grim Hunter cards. But if you have already invested in Esstac cards. Give this a try. It works!
"Buy a Shotgun"... I already did 😂 Sadly your review is a bit late for me. I just bought a "lot" of EssTac Cards. Well let's find out how bad it will be. Have a great weekend
@@YourFavoriteLibertarian As I am not living in the US, I will have to make do with the Esstacs for some time as delivery costs across the ocean are pretty horrendous. Will keep you updated on the performance of the cards on my STF12 .
I have the Aridus Industries Quick Detach unit on my 1301LTT and it is an ok unit. EXpensive!!!!! On my Benelli m4 LE I have the EssTac Cards and I notice only a very slight pulling away on my Velcro. Not enough to make a difference. Just use your EssTac Cards with good prep and heavy-duty Velcro and you should be just fine.
I sat my 1301 in my junk room propped up against a box and a desk I guess I had the esstac card full of 7 shells and it fell off and stuck to a cardboard box I tried to peel the paper off but couldn't do it. It is now stuck on the side of the receiver But I don't trust it. Ordered the GHT But not before ordering some other card the cost me over a hundred dollars. We'll see what works best. Couldn't find your page I just kept looking and looking and finally found you again. I guess the $114 dollar thingamajig was a Mesa Tactical Sidesaddle. I'm on the internet I'm just like clickety clickety click click next thing you know money is flying out the window. Chilly fck it all. I just ordered 2 more esstac shell carriers. I doubt I'll ever use that Mesa tactical unit. When I say my junk room that small unused bedroom is full of more stuff then we can even imagine. I buy stuff and buy stuff & stack it to the ceiling. Good god somebody take my credit card away. I'm just about to spend 10k on my Harley dear God zip tie me to the kitchen sink before it's to late.🤣🤓🤪😂😳We'll have a good ride this summer.

Great info dude…I’m going to order some of those today…I have the exact issue with my esstac cards…really annoying…keep up the great work 👍🏻
Thanks Man! That's why I make the videos.
Yeah I’ve been waiting on my GHT shot cards over 5mths now. But a few Esstacs to hold me til they arrive. You’re spot on about them.

I’ve have no problems getting 7 rounds in my LTT 1301 with Federal 00 buck. I am using 00 buck 8 pellet with flight control.
Oh Wow! another cool Info clip! I have the Esstacs and havent used them yet...will look at them better!
Definitely been great seeing this come to life and all of the upgrades for it. 1301 is going to be my duty shotgun when I can find one at LE price.

@@YourFavoriteLibertarianhow about some of the el cheapo’s from Amazon like Elite Spanker or Under Alert?
The Vang Comp cards are nice but they are pricey ($26/card) and only come in a max of 6 capacity. Langdon Tactical has them in stock.
My esstac cards were also peeling away on their own. I kept bending them backwards.
Did constant bending help the issue?

So with the GHT 7rd cards being smaller a guess you could move up to the 8rd and it would be the same length as esstac’s 7rd.
For sure!

I haven't looked at other shotgun cards, but if you know of some, I should check out, I'm all ears.
I have the Airidus shell caddy on mine. Works well but a bit pricy.
@darrelldunlap7249 I'm more in the velcro camp, but I'm not opposed to trying those out.
Overall, I agree and would stick with the velcro. The caddy came as part of the Langdon Tactical Upgrade.
8-12 week lead time! & i emailed them to see if by chance any was instock ( so i wouldn't have to wait) & they didn't respond.
That's wild. I hope they hire more people soon.

I looked into them, but they only make up to a 6 shell card, and I need at least 7 to fill the tube. 8 would be ideal, but that's not as easy to find.
