    when you are building new sash and repairing old, what kind of wood are you using. Do you source old growth wood of some kind?

    I had no idea you used no glue. Of course I’ve never built or rebuilt a sash. But that’s interesting and I hope to build a couple sashes soon.

      Nope. No glue. I used to. But that was only when I was still figuring out the mortise and tenon

    Thanks for all the great information. I looks like you have also built windows with diamond shaped sections? I have 7 windows like that in my old house but I can’t find any information on what joints are used to piece it all together. A square sectioned window like a Queen Anne I understand but not the joints for the diamond sections. If you could show how one of those is put together it would provide some very hard to find information! Thanks again!
