went there during my 2 months roadtrip through the US early 2015. Other theme parks where: Universal studios hollywood AND universal studios Orlando, Cedar Point and WDW. So for me this is just a feels trip ^^ love the channel

Fun fact which you probably already know but the American Film National Lampoon's Vacation (1983) was filmed here aka Wally World. One of the first rated R movies I was able to watch but I didn't care about the nudity, I couldn't wait to see the coasters. You probably have seen it but if not it's a good watch and you will see elements of this park in the movie. I hope I am not wrong, but I am 80% sure it's this park featured in the film. Again another great vlog so far, I just started watching this one and going on to part 2 as soon as this one is finished.

great video man!I am going to SFMM for the first time ever this next saturday and would like to know if you used a GoPro for some of your onride shots? if so, did you have any issues at security check for it? i am asking becouse on their website SFMM park policies state that gopro are prohibited equipment. I'm intending on bringing mine with a granade grip.

Living in SoCal, I've been here at least one time. But not since senior year of h-s, two days before graduation. That was June of 2010. The Terminator Salvation coaster was still new. Things have changed and more rides added.

I graduated 2010 as well and also went to six flags for my senior trip, we were probably there around the same time maybe even same day.

The only part I don't like about riddlers revenge is you have to get in the "seat" perfectly before the restraints lock if not it really pushes up on your feet and hurts really bad on the knees.

I rode the Gold Rusher the Colossus and the Revolution back in the 1970s when I was a wee lad.
If you like feeling free on a coaster and a lot of theming then you should do karacho. Did that for the first time on Sunday and it was amazing. The lap bar restraints on the ride are awesome through the inversions and it has good theming in the station. Plus light and smoke effects and even flashing light effects on the carriages. My fourth favourite coaster ive ever ridden!

I remember growing up and reading about SFMM, and especially Superman Escape (now Escape From Krypton). It seemed so unreal back then! But it's cool to see something that was built back when I was a kid still holding a flame to these newer beasts. Still one of the tallest and fastest in the world :). I still haven't gotten to the California parks, but I definitely recommend getting to Cedar Point as soon as you can. In my opinion, the Cedar Fair parks do a better job of offering a variety of coasters within the chain rather than putting clones in all their parks like six flags. You should look into getting a Cedar Fair Platinum Pass and taking a massive road trip between several of their East Coast and Mid West parks.
If you are OK with doing A LOT of driving you could do Cedar Point, King's Island, Carowinds, and King's Dominion in the same trip. If you included parks outside of the chain and made a complete giant circle, you could through the Pennsylvania parks such as Hersheypark, Dorney Park, Kennywood Kenoebels, Waldameer and also throw Busch Gardens Williamsburg and maybe Six Flags Great Adventure and even Six Flags America in the mix. If you did even just the Cedar Fair part of this trip you could get all three of the US Giga Coasters in the same trip and get many of the best Intamins and B&Ms in the country. If you made this complete circle, it would be a little over 2000 miles worth of driving but you would knock out a good chunk of the Eastern US parks.
I recently did a similar roadtrip to what I am describing where I drove from NY and went to King's Dominion, Busch Gardens, Carowinds, Cedar Point, Kennywood and Waldameer in 4 and half days. Obviously traveling internationally, it would be beneficial to take your time and work through the trip slower. I took video throughout my entire trip if you are interested in seeing how I did it.

Shaun, are you insane for not enjoying it, but no, I don't really like flying coasters. And that was way- the pretzel loop was way too intense. But again, not a nice intense.

I went to six Flags for the first time on Saturday! And it was my first time and I live 30 mins away! The person I was with had a game plan and a routine. We got there around a couple hours after the park opened. Ended up getting 6 rides in.

Pretzel loop is the best part of tatsu!! And there is not supposed to be force, you are supposed to be weightless during free fall rides. That's the whole point.

Six Flags magic mountain looks highly impressive. It's amazing how many coasters that place is full of yet looks a very exciting place.
Haven't been to Magic Mountain yet, but always play it on RCT2 when I get chance.

When I went there, it was a rainy day, and it was empty. When I went, Batman was backwards, and Apocalypse was their new ride. I had a fantastic day when I went here. 🙃

X2 and Top Thrill Dragster are my bucket list coasters! USA gets all the good stuff!! I went to Florida a few years ago for the first time and ever since then - I havent been able to visit a UK park - they just dont thrill me as much as USA parks
