What is currently the best cell phone for a blind user? My son still has a iPhone 6 and I want to give him a new one for his birthday. Would you recommend iPhone 11? Thanks in advance!

The iPhone 11 would be a wonderful phone and smart device to develop and work with your son. We are in the mist of releasing some helpful short videos on the iPhone and how to utilize VoiceOver and various other topics in the upcoming month(s). We wish you and him a wonderful time learning all of the capabilities. Having a smartphone really does open a new world of communication when you learn the capabilities.

Thanks for the question! We recommend Seeing AI from Apple, which can detect people, describe scenes around you, read currency, read handwritten words, and describe colors.

As described by other comments, there is, but I believe this is available on iOS as well.
