*RARE FOOTAGE* Steven Seagal & The SNL Episode They Tried To Bury

  • Once upon a time, a room full of idiots in suits came up with the idea of having Steven Seagal host Saturday Night Live. Those people, I assume, were fired the day after this episode was aired, and never given a job in Hollywood ever gain. And rightfully so. This was perhaps the greatest hosting performance ever captured on film. Not only was he a pain in the butt leading up to the filming, but he was absolutely useless on the day. No effort. Minimal preparation. Absolutely no skill. This, is the result. I have tried to include as much footage as possible without copping a strike, so it might be longer than usual, but I tried to give y'all as much footage as possible. This is a serious documentary. Kinda. It took me a while to get this past the copyright wardens and I had to slice it up more than i would have liked. This seems to happen to me a lot. The uncensored version is available on Patreon, and I will be uploading the full skits on there in the next couple of days also. Please support if you can. Thanks for watching legends, and have an awesome weekend! I hope y'all enjoy. Peace legends
A place to relax and have a laugh. NO POLITICS. There are enough places to fight about left and right. This is a place to laugh(hopefully) about everything with people from all over the world. I finally have the courage to come out and say that I identify as a Sensei Steven Seagal. I will never be the man himself-something I have grown to accept...but I now get to experience his life through his movies, his words of wisdom and the blessings he has bestowed upon humanity. I will ensure future generations know all about the man that is Steven Frederic Seagal. This channel is about having a laugh and taking a break from the stresses and monotony of life.

My Seagalians and friends- This is now my 6th or 7th attempt to keep this uploaded. I lost track. I've tried many times. Thank you as always for your support. If this is your first time watching it, I hope you enjoy. There would be a lot of clips you may not have seen. If this is your 5th or 6th time watching it, you're a true champion in my book! Think about supporting the channel on Patreon. Uncensored, exclusive content www.patreon.com/SenseiSeagal Stay awesome. I shall continue to good fight! Peace legends.

Brother, WTF is going on? Your last re-upload was there for a few days. Did they suddenly decide to demonestise or were you hit with a copyright claim? Genuinely curious, and of course sending out hate vibes to youtube on your behalf.
FYI - I think I'm watching this for only the third time, which makes me pretty beta in the Seagalian community. I will accept this rank with humble shame ☹😀

Sorry mate, ignore my previous jabber, I just read your community post. Although, kind of weird it took a "manual review" from a youtube employee to slap you with a copyright claim. Narcissistic sociopaths rarely do, psychopaths mimic normals so do laugh, even if they don’t get the joke.
Narcissists think the world revolves around them so if people are laughing they think it’s directed at them, they then get defensive & aggressive, devalue, demonise & bully someone in order to feel back in control.
      I have family like that.

His idiotic little speech at the beginning of the show was supposed to be so edgy and "socially conscientious" but ended up looking like a prepared speech by a dumb s***... And okay Rob Schneider is undoubtedly a hack, but the immortal Chris Farley is a recognized champion in the Pantheon of comedy,, and even he couldn't save that sketch with the family that looked more like they were being held hostage by Seagull than anything else... And that COMPLETELY RIDICULOUS oil corporation boardroom sketch,, why is this idiot taking pictures of a guy talking on the phone? Phil acted his part out with grace and professionalism,, and after the other assaults on the set Phil must have known that he was going to be in for a bit of rough treatment at the hands of Sensei Stuntmanassaulter,, I would have run but Phil waited around for his throw...... Talk about professionalism,, and at the end of the sketch the audience doesn't even know if they have permission to clap or not, Seagull has to stare at them like he's about to come into the audience and break all their arms back the wrong way,, and then the applause is more like prison inmates applauding the warden, if the guards don't see you applauding, you're going to be in for a little bit of a rough time when lights out comes.......

I had the 'pleasure' of watching this episode of SNL as a 19 year old with my buddy. Both of us moderate Seagal fans then, mostly loving the limb-breaking but both SNL hardcore fans then too and we really looked forward to this ep. I left it disgusted with Sifu Seagal. I still remember the Lorne Michaels burn a few years later too, and laughed my damn ass off when it came out. I mean ROARED with laughter and never forgot it. I was hoping it would be raised here. Great video! Never watched this channel, but I'll see what else you have. Might well earn a sub.

I had a similar experience. My ex was a big fan and I was too, but to a lesser extent. I remember watching this episode when it aired and just being blown away on how bad it was. It was like our eyes were opened to how much of a no-talent hack S.S. really is. And the Lorne Michaels burn? I remember that too and absolutely laughing my ass off. Good times. =)

But never has I seen the full glorious legend of when Steaven Seagall did a SNL show as told by the master himself - he who gave inspirational birth to martial arts giants such as Master Ken and Chuck Norris. An entire year this has eluded me - I would expcet nothing less from a homage to the most nrecognized ninja of all time.

To be fair, the part where Seagal mentions the Ford Fairlane, he is talking about the universally panned Andrew Dice Clay film The Adventures of Ford Fairlane, in which the titular main character is named after the model of automobiles. He didn't just randomly blurt out the name of a kind of cars. They were an American model of Ford sedans before they started making the Australian versions.
Anyways, thanks for providing some original footage from this episode, I had never been able to find this much before. He is so painfully lacking in self-awareness and a sense of humor.
