Beautiful colours my sweet friend! The time lapse was brilliant. Just loved watching the transformation. These are a stunning pair! These colours make me smile . Well done ❤❤❤
You would have laughed at my reactions... I was ooooing, aaahhhing, and a big Whoa! at the reveal! 😁 I don't do resin art, so I will have to live vicariously through you and Donna. You can create some awesome art with it, and most of it is functional art....I Love functional art! There is nothing better than having beautiful things all around you that are useful! I'm pretty in love with the non-useful things, too☺️. Really cool Kim!😊✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️
Hahaha. Resin is fun yet torturous beast but it keeps me out of trouble. You are so right with the functional part! I have soo many paintings just lying around and decorating my house- resin is much smaller and I can use them. I’m glad I’m not the only one who talks and exclaims to themselves when watching videos. 😅😆
When you said you were curious to see how they looked like I thought " You and me both🤣!" Fabulous. And so happy that you are happy. That's the reward for your peserverence. Happy testing out. Enjoy your discoveries, 👌🇳🇱🙋♀🥝
Beautiful Kim, i’m certainly no expert in resin however, I will be getting into some project soon my thought is, I’m not sure when you added the purple it must’ve been after the first round cured somewhat, but those pinks must be opaque and if they are, they won’t let anything below it be seen. The other thought I had is if you added the purple layer on top, which I don’t know how that would work I didn’t see what you did, I would bet that the purple has a lower density than the pink and the purple would just stay on top while it’s curing. Either way, I’m certainly no expert, but that’s what pops into my brain while I’m sitting here watching your video.
It’s a great thought process you went through. Actually they are both transparent colors. I also thought like you maybe the order that I puddled them would come into play. I tried it the way round with different colors and nope. Resin is a tricky beast with a mind of its own!! Thank you so much for your thoughts because they absolutely make sense. 🤨💙🤷🏻♀️
Thank you! You posed an interesting question. My first thought was NO. However, I’m now thinking maybe? Normal (non UV) resin heats up as it cures and the resin moves from the outside towards the middle. It is possible that if you mixed everything up and let it sit for an hour it might move. It absolutely will not work if you immediately cure the resin with a UV light. I’m not sure if anyone has tried what you are suggesting. Perhaps because UV resin is more expensive than regular resin and is usually used in small quantities. I hope that makes sense. If you decide to try this though, please let me know what happened and tag me! 💙🩵💙
Love these so much!!

Kim this turned out perfect and where did that purple go? love your dragon scales 😍🥰☺
Right?!? I did so many of these trying to get the purple to stick around but it just won’t. Not until Purple Perfection - stay tuned!
I love the colors on these. Would this work with UV resin??
