It depicts the ways emotional intelligence evolves and how it can be boosted. It poses an alternative to the overly cognition-centered approaches to the human mind that formerly prevailed in the psychological establishment.

That's the issue with these books. They are very generic high-level overviews with very little real-life detail or examples. Empathy is not the correct response for all situations. I think the summary reflects the book's generality rather than the summary not being good. It's a good summary and AI voice.

I'm deeply impressed by this. I recently discovered similar material, and it was truly remarkable. "The Art of Meaningful Relationships in the 21st Century" by Leo Flint

if you the only one offering others the benefit of the doubt and yet still getting floored on regular basis once you get back on your feet the issue is that your attempting to love severely compromised people... so ask yourself why you have suffered...

There is no such thing as "emotional intelligence" the word you are looking for is maturity.

@Arthur Rimbaud lies don't exist? you need to reexamine your "iq"

@Arthur Rimbaud I took a IQ test years ago when I was in primary school or before that. It just doesn't make sense what it measures with those arbitrary stuff. It's more like you have to have my "way of thinking"", if you don't you have low iq. I have no idea what it measures anyway with its bizarre questions. I want to end with a Stephen Hawking quote, "I have no idea. People who boast about their IQ are losers."
