I realize this build was completed last year but I personally believe this to be one of your very best. Not only a beautiful finished model but the airborne images suggest it is a sweet flyer. Thank you for sharing. Jim
Waaaaaw....... amazing Julius. You did it again. Make a plane from a scrath and it flies as good as it looks. Beautiful take off, beautiful landing, beautiful plane. I love the livery 😍. Hopefully mine's will fly well too. Honestly. because of this project I have a passion to make homemade rc plane again. Thank's
My friend, you are truly a genius. I have enjoyed your procedures and advice enormously. I hope you continue with this good sling in life and be recognized as the Tesla or Ainstain of model aircraft, my respect and affection.
The DC3 is awesome, like your other models. Will try to build it by myself. Thx for sharing your plans to all the pilots out there. Great model. Will wait for your next project. Go on...
I have never been big fan of model airliners.... However, you just changed that! Your DC3 is a swan: gorgeous on the ground and in the blue. Well done!
Exciting and captivating, as always your model airplanes are exemplary, they fly very well, are resistant, made with poor materials and despite this they are transformed into true works of art. Bravissimo! Perdana il Numero 1
I'm about to start build of Pat Tritle/Brodak DC-3 kit. Your foamie version flies beautifully, hope my balsa and ply version flies as nicely as yours. I think I'll skip the retracts for lightness and simplicity .Very nicely made video, great foam building technique, congratulations.
Congratulations on an absolutely superb looking and flying DC-3. She looks and fly's really scale like. You should get a medal for all the work put in for building flying and taking the time to video and share the plans thank you!.
Wow, seems like this planes takes a lot of work/time from you Julius. I am glad you found the tip of the painted laminating film useful ! Now i don´t have any plane to do but i hope soon apply all this techniques of you. Congratulations and good flights!
You are awesome sir you had guided me to make my own rc planes which is very affordable to me the ides are really great sir in past I was spending too much in this hobby.great job sir pls assist me when needed I will join ur gold member plan soon sir. Thanks
Hi Julius Perdana, if I make this DC-3 but 1.8 times smaller to get it for a 5 inch propellers, do I need to increase the control surfaces or can they stay as they are only 1.8 times smaller? Douglas DC-3 dimensions after reducing by 1.8 times: 1. Wingspan 1222mm / 48 inches 2. Flying weight should be under 1400 gram / 49 oz 3. Propellers will be 5x3x3
Eagerly awaiting to see the completion of this project and was not disappointed ! Excellent scratch build I envy you talent. Looking forward to the 707 a refreshing change from all the A380s ! Perhaps Qantas V Jet livery ? Keep the videos coming Many Thanks 😃
Did I understand correctly that you painted the laminating film before applying ? In the Mustang build you apply the film and then paint. The friend's video you refer to is unfortunately not in English. Thanks David
@@JuliusPerdana hey. Can you build a sorta big b17 next. Or any time soon. That would be cool to watch you build that. I'm not very good at building rc planes. But I love to fly them.
Hello Julius, I am still very impressed with your very interesting and original projects of the different planes that you have kindly shown us; I ask you, would it be possible to develop a Douglas DC-6 plane, it would be very, very interesting, apart from that it is one of my favorite planes. Kind regards Julius.

Julius, I have watched all your builds, and flights, and I will say this again you are awesome builder and flyer, I believe your landing gear failed servo wasn't a heavy enough servo to pick up the large wheels from what I see in the video.
Julius, how about making a 4-motor DC-6 would be a very nice plane, don't you think? I don't know how to design, but I can put together and with your effective direction, that's it. Greetings again from Mexico.
Hi there! it's incredible, it flies just amazing! I'm trying to repeat this plane. Can you explain one thing for me! the lower part of the middle wing should be parallel to the fuselage and stabilizer - right ??? if not, what should be its wing angle of attack ???
Hello Julius, what kind of material do you use to cover the plane, is it MONOKOTE? and can the Deprom stand up to the heat of the iron? without affecting the structure of the plane. Thank you and I congratulate you on your incredible talent. Julius, how about making a Douglas DC-6.

I really like this build because it's big enough that when it flies it looks more scale. It's probably easier to fly than a small plane as well.
one of the best flyer I ever build and fly, so easy so calm, always score smooth landing

What is the equivalent to mica plastic here in the US? Can I use clear plastic packaging like a simply orange orange juice container?
any plastic that you think you can use it

I use 2 types of material, the white one is packing tapes. The silver one is painted laminating film, the foam is fine with medium heat
