It's 11pm but after watching this I wanna break out my topik books and make a study plan 😩 I'm not even taking the topik but you're making me feel motivated 🤣
I just adore how well organized and planned your studying is while still being pragmatic and realistic. Really inspires me to put more pressure on myself and actually arrange some system that will fit my studying habits. Can't wait for you to take the exam, I have no doubts you'll pass it with flying colors.
Awww thank you~ 💕 I've made enough overly optimistic study plans to have learned how to make realistic ones 😂 Thanks~ As long as I follow my plan, I think I have a good chance at passing~
It’s is so strange that you’ve posted this now. Today I almost finished a mock test for topik 1 (I have 16 questions left but it’s late here so...) and I’m only a few marks from a level two and I’ve never been so happy about my Korean in the three years I’ve been studying. I wish you luck with the TOPIK and your studying leading up to it. You’ve got this! 할 수 있어요!
Ohh!! It's good that you're working with the mock tests~!! I didn't study with them enough the first time I took the TOPIK II and it bit me in the butt later when I failed by 11 points 🤧 You'll do better than me!! haha You've got this too~!!!
Yess, I love this! I am using TOPIK mock tests to gauge my progress. I'm planning on taking one or two uni semesters in Korea and need to have a TOPIK 5 or 6 by then ^^
Amazing video and RUclips channel! I have been struggling for years to find good advice on tools to use to learn Korean and this is the first time I find absolutely useful and helpful tips!! Thank you so much! I am going to prepare for TOPIK 2 level 4 too and will use your many tips. 감사합니다 🙏
Happy to help~ I’ve also noticed there aren’t many videos on the TOPIK, well at least content that’s in English haha Best of luck on your exam~!! We still have a few months to prepare~!!
I remembered watching your last video about the TOPIK and I was really hoping you would talk more about this and I'm so so glad you decided to take it aiming for the 4th level, that's so impressive! I'm also taking it in October and I really needed some motivation🤩
You are so cute and adorable and so inspiring! Due to work and going back to school had to take an 8 month break from what is now "technically" 2 yrs of starting korean studies. && i was so discouraged but ur videos give me hope! Thank you so muchhhhh and God bless and stay safe
I think our braincells are somehow connected because I just started panicking about TOPIK (which I'm going to take on Saturday) so thank you so much for this video!
You are an inspiration! I'll be attending MIddlebury this summer for Korean, and I hope to take the TOPIK 2 next year. I am at an intermediate level, and am also aiming for a 4! I purchased a few of the books that you mentioned, they all look great! Wonderful video (as always), and I appreciate your study breakdown!
Loved this! I'm not even taking TOPIK this year but now I'm motivated to study for it 😊 And I totally used the same approach of dividing up materials when I prepared for KIIP. It really helps give you clarity and a goal to focus on and keeps you from being overwhelmed. Hope your plan works out for you and good luck on the exam!
Hi everyone in the comments! Sorry for bothering but I'm taking the TOPIK I on October. If you have any tips, books recommendations, please drop them below. I'd be very helpful! Thank you in advance
Wow really helpful video!! Thank you so much❤ but I have a question ~ every book has a different grammar (I mean 이화 and 서울대 has a little bit different grammar inside) so what you did if you learn grammar and then see that grammar later in other book? Did you start new grammar or just repeat it?
This reminds me of studying for the Japanese Language Proficiency Test. The tests helped me push myself to study stuff (grammar) I probably wouldn't have otherwise. I wonder if they might just cancel the TOPIK/JLPT for the next several years until this virus actually goes away. That generation gap book looks interesting although I'm on the wrong end of the generation gap now 😂
Hi natalia, i just wanna say that you are one of the youtubers that inspire me to learn korean even though i'm an absolute beginner. I do have a question though. What is this topik exam everyone's talking about and what do you achieve from it. And also for a beginner learner who wants to participate in taking this exam, is ttmik a good resource or do i need to use a variety of resources. Can you please give me some advice ..........thank you so muuuuch and keep up the good work aaand not to forget good luck :):)
Awwww~ 💕🙈 The TOPIK is just a Korean proficiency exam administered by the Korean government. People take it for various reasons~ I’m taking it because I’d like to get my masters from a Korean university, so I need a TOPIK score of 5 or 6. Outside of education, it’s also used for obtaining specific visas and jobs. If you’re only using TTMIK’s free grammar lessons, then yes, you will need to use other resources as well! You’ll need to learn more vocabulary than is presented in their lessons if you want to do well on the exams. You’ll also need to really practice your listening! I believe TTMIK has a TOPIK I video course for a reasonable price, but I’ve never used it myself. No matter which resource or resources you choose, just make sure you take a look at past exams! You can find some on the TOPIK GUIDE website!!
i am going to take the exam in November as well and we have alot of the same books hahahaha the orange one I have been debating on cuz J recommends it and she is usually spot on
J is Jeannie? I will also take TOPIK this November and I aim for level 4. I'm living in Korea and my main reason for wanting to get level 4 is for KIIP Level 5 class(Korean Immigration and Integration Program).화이팅 하세요~
Hi - thank you very much making this video! quick question; for 'COMPLETE GUIDE TO THE TOPIK II' does it assume I know the Topik 1 content or is it does it have all the content needed for beginner to topik level 4?
Hey can you plz tell me that the topik specific resources those you shared....are completely helpful???? I mean by only study that I can pass topik 3???? Plz tell me😭😭😭🥺🥺
Hai, I hope you are doing good. I want to know the study plan and suggestion how to get passed for Topik 1 exam. Kindly help me so I can attend my exam on October
Can someone help me out here? I am a bit confused in regards to which ewha books to purchase when I am a beginner. At Amazon there are some stated as "Korean versions" and "English Versions". Where is the exact difference? Plus When my level is "1-1" then I see "Ewha Korean Study Guide 1-1" + "Ewha Korean 1-2 Workbook" + "Ewha Korean 1-2 Textbook" + "Ewha Korean 1-1 : English version" The latter does not tell what it is about whether text or workbook. Wouldn't I need textbook + workbook with "1-1"
Hi Natalia... Do you know where I can get the vocubulary for topik II ??.. .I found words on internet but their translation is wierd most of the time???. Thank you in advance. Gracias de antemano.
Here you are! Her availability fills up pretty quickly, so definitely start looking at booking classes with her at least a week in advance! www.italki.com/teacher/5228882/?ref=BcbE0H
Hi Hi, I have a question. Is there any similar book to COMPLETE GUIDE TO THE TOPIK II but for beginners? I would really appreciate any help with that ;). Thanks.
Thank you for the help last time, but I’m definitely not intermediate. Imma beginner and I need help pleaseeeeee. If you cant help I STILL appreciate it and KEEP YOUR HEAD UP!! I BELIEVE IN YOU!!

I never took the TOPIK I, so I've actually never personally used the Complete Guide to The TOPIK. I did buy it for my friend and she said she liked it though. However, because of COVID, her test got cancelled so there's no gauge of how much it helped her prepare for the exam.
Hello miss Natalie. Please can you give me some TOPIK books you're not using anymore? It's so expensive to buy and ship to my country 😭. I'll pay for the shipping if you're willing to give out. Thank you

Hello! I am planning to take TOPIK test, I wanna ask if what book is more good or reliable to study with? Yonsei or Ewha?

Yes! I put links in the description box!! 💕
Hi! Do you recommned buying the complete guide to the topik I?
I never took the TOPIK I, so I've actually never personally used the Complete Guide to The TOPIK. I did buy it for my friend and she said she liked it though. However, because of COVID, her test got cancelled so there's no gauge of how much it helped her prepare for the exam.
