its a crime acheron wasn't there with us to fight sunday in person so here's a scenario i came up with.
pov: you saw the angel speak to the abyss

As was done before by the Morning Star...

"Free will..." Acheron looked toward the horizon where she had marked Aventurine's final resting place with a crimson scar stretching over the cosmos. "The desire to do evil and good. Bound in equal measure within the human heart. In a sense, it is what grants us meaning in life..." Withdrawing the fragment of Nihility from its sheath of enamel and indigo, all pigment faded from her body, except the red tears clinging to her face and the petals of the lycoris falling to the earth. "Remove it... and one is no different from being dead."
"You dare to question my judgment, Emanator? Are you ignorant of the paradise I am willing to create?" Sunday's voice rang a bit clearer as the amalgamation of chords and metal lurched forward to point an accusatory finger at Acheron. "Join me, Raiden Mei. In this new Zion, you will be free of suffering, hunger, loneliness, and fear. You can be with those you have lost in Izumo's perilous journey through the Darkness for all eternity."
"Then I would be running away by dreaming of what could be. They sacrificed themselves, so I might live. To throw it all away is an unforgivable disservice to every soul I watched pass over the shore of Nihility. Therefore..." she pointed her sword at Sunday's partially covered mechanical face, "I will run your new haven aground, and return the bitter cold of reality to you, Archangel."
"...So be it." The overlaid tones of melody morphed back into the voice belonging to 'Dominicus' as a myriad of mechanical puppets descended over the stage in unison. "As the sole star hanging in the sky, I shall burn away the Darkness you pose before me."
