Hidden Lake Lookout Hike, North Cascades National Park-August

The Hidden Lake Lookout Trail is a popular hike in the North Cascades. We were hoping to spend the night up in the lookout, but our first attempt we were turned around by the threat of storms. On our second attempt, with storms again forecasted in the afternoon, we decided on doing this as a day hike and it turned out to be one of our all-time favorite day hikes.
