Always good to watch and listen to Steven and his dad 😊as you say can’t win them all but you still congratulate the winners , that’s class in my book .
You only get one winner Davy, so far dues pal! The best pigeon on the day mate 👏👏 back to the drawing board for ourselfs and see how we go mate. Thanks for watching appreciate that 🤝👍
Another really good video Steven, 64 away and all home is good flying, and close to the top again in strong competition, couple adjustments and youll be there again,as you said money cant buy it, just hard work and determination, keep at it, good luck to yous for Skibbereen this week🤞
Thanks Robert! Appreciate your comments 🤝 just see how we go mate! Money can’t buy it is right mate! We all have our days where there nothing more frustrating at times, but once you stil down in the lofts the birds just seem to make it disappear 🙌🙌 Thanks chum 👍
Your videos are great, Steven. Love that you put the mike on your dad. Reminds me of wonderful memories racing pigeons with my dad. Treasure the times together. Really another good result and it's great that you are in a competitive club with other very good racers. Keeps you sharp! Cheers mate.
Your 100% I always feel for them partnership’s as I currently live in the times with me and dad doing this together!! I’m only regret is not starting sooner! But enjoying every minute even in the down times. I’m glad you get some positive memories back phill and as you say you cherish them! Thanks for watching mate 🤝👍appreciated
Thanks bill pal! It was unfortunate mate that’s the difference really from 5th to possibly 2nd lol ahh well as you said mate on to this week race 💪🙌 thanks for watching 🤝
Steven, I haven't come across to many fanciers that would put them selves to blame for a less than expected result, it just shows what a really nice guy you are, but listening to Steven snr showing compassion to the birds that stumbled on return, I guess we can see where you get it from, it just amazes me that it is always the first bird that wants to mess about the ones following hitting the trap!!! but it is no small feet to get full returns roll on next week
Thanks merv I appreciate your kind words, yeah I mean what else can you say or try to avoid lol we had an idea of what was to maybe come on Friday night when hampering the birds! Suppose I just felt more sorry for the birds with the day less to recover, but still I’m the one with the corn tin in my hand 😂😂 I may have had a twinge in my arm Wednesday and Thursday 😂😂😂 As you say we certainly don’t do this for money or gain lol just the pure love of pigeons. Getting birds pairing them breeding them resting them and watching them race! This for me is more than what money can buy! Hopefully this bad but if weather we have at the moment clears up and we get going again! Appreciate your honesty and kind words merv! Myself and my dad thank you 🤝👍
@@ssbrownracingpigeons37 yeah love the videos. Me bloody back flared up the weekend. I was in an awfull way to be homest. Loved me race saturday i really enjoyed it
@@ssbrownracingpigeons37 ah loved it. The way they raced to the loft and trapped. Buzzing i was. I should really pull the plug to be honest. Finding it hard to stop.
Great video again Steven unlucky on the trapping hopefully they improve for you next race mate well done on your results so far, well done to the winner
You ever see the fellas standing at the road side all watching one man work, abit like that 😂😂😂 I’m only joking Thing with pigeons they are all very different Joe, different size, different shapes, long, short, bulky, slim…. we like when feather condition is lovely a soft(like silk) nice colour in the breath and throat, and the eye like glass. And weight aslong as they don’t feel like dead weight are all things we look at mate
Thanks Andrew appreciate that! Yeah just wish the rain would kindly go away now lol 😂 we were teased on Saturday thinking it was the start off summer 😕👎 How’s racing in your end mate 🤞🤞 thanks for watching 🤝
