I’m glad to see fellow old people who grew up with this music. And even more joyous that younger people are brought here no matter which way they still come and enjoy.
Wow, actually a slightly older person that actually welcomes young people to these songs. I don’t find folks like you anymore. Thanks for the good words. I’ll make good use out of this music.

It’s incredible that no matter how many times I listen to this, the first entrance with "The jig is up" fills me with the exact same energy. Styx is just one of those bands, you can’t get the same feel from any other group
When I first found this song, I thought the band was Queen that was singing it. Love Queen & Freddy Mercury. Now I like Styx, too. Anybody else think Styx sounds like Queen here?
I love how angry people get when a song/band they like gets put on a game or TV show. If you really like the song/band then be happy it is still so kick-ass as to be relevant years or decades after it was made. You should never be mad that people are getting exposed to good music even if it is through rock band or television.

Just started watching Supernatural and the songs on there are such a throw back. For Example: Eye of the Tiger, Carry on my Wayward Son, (Don't Fear) The Reaper. The producers have an amazing taste in music! It is gold to be able to hear those songs once again.

This song was the very first song I ever bought at a record store in 1979! I was 12 years old and wore this 45 out on my record player! B-side was"Sing for the Day"...great music back then, the crap now a days will never beat the 70's Rock.
So much of it is simply a version of Rock, Pop or Disco. I can tolerate some or a little of anything but Nothing comes close to the greatest 2 decades of Rock & Pop music which is the 60's & 70's.
Everybody talks about music from the 70's and how great it is. Don't get me wrong, I'm 19 and I love 70's music. But everybody leaves out a great decade for music. My favorite decade. That's right. I'm talking about the 80's.
I love 80s as well..Rock was facing competition now from Punk, "New Wave" ( which became alt) and hair band metal. Suddenly with the introduction of the synthesizer many new forms of electronic based music took shape. But the 70's was the last decade to solely focus on guitar, bass, drums and vocals only. Raw compared to today's high tech dubbing and mixing engineered sounds.

Its one of the very few radio stations that I actually love listening to. It plays just what I want to hear apart from ads.
I don't recall saying anything what so ever along those lines but ok, but no, there is nothing wrong with liking specific kinds of music. My point is that I don't like a lot of the new stuff people are coming out with, a lot of just doesn't sound right to me.

How did I find this song? Through Supernatural. But I truly love this song, not just due to its having been in the show. If I didn't truly fall in love with the lyrics I never would have taken the time to find it and listen to it and learn the lyrics. But god was this a PERFECT fit for the episode it ended or what??? XD
Honestly I already knew the song before I saw that episode, but it doesn't matter how someone found it, if they like the music that's great! Also it was the PERFECT ending, gave it such a cool vibe!
Hell yes Meghan. Styx helped inspire my generation. Their concerts are among the best I've seen. The only live performances I have liked better were Genesis(definately go high on THC, their light show will amaze indoors) and THE BOSS. I am a jersey girl. But you have to see Bruce in concert to really appreciate his music. 70's n 80s rock can not be beat. No auro tune, minimal editing and just good music. Alit of it will live forever.
Hilarious! This weekend, I was camping out in the middle of nowhere and started singing, “Oh, Mama… I can hear you a-crying I’m so scared and all alone…” and I heard the rest of the verse answer back. Haha! What an awesome way to meet new people! 🤘😆

I may or may not have been singing this in the back of a police cruiser this one time when I may or may not have gotten arrested
That means you were singing this and that you were arrested.

What is this Supernatural and why do they keep putting all the good songs in it >.
Sadly, only teens know these classic songs because of popular shows o.o
Bunni Erickson
Not me! I love Supernatural, but my parents educate me well!
SparksEpic3002 Yeah I just never seen the show, I'm not trying to judge it or anything. It's just whenever I listen to Kansas or Styx or hum the songs people are just like "you watch Supernatural?" so it upsets me but I mean I'm sure the shows great, I'm only 18 I'm just saying haha
Bunni Erickson
lol good show by the way, worth watching my fellow friend :D
It is a badass TV show. It's dragged on now though imo and i feel it should have ended a few seasons back. Still amazing though, made a hell of a comeback last season for sure. I suggest you check it out. :D
"We are so screwed..."
This song is just straight up steelers nation!
I'm proud of you Jeff for taking responsibility for your actions.
We all make mistakes, it's impossible not to in this modern un personal life with technology.......
Love yah friend
Told my wife I wanted to be Tommy Shaw as a kid. She told me she wanted to do Tommy Shaw. We learned to live with disappoinment.
Joe Hart 😂 LMFAO
Lol Tommy Shaw❤
LOL
Lol!!
Dude, your comment is as good as any Jack Handy segment on SNL.
Wherever I hear this song all I can think is Ash vs Evil Dead
*Presses replay million's of times*
Here because of my 1st Steelers game a few weeks ago. Song is stuck in my head and I am not mad about that.
I’ve been listening to this song non stop all day, and all night last night, and it still gives me goosebumps listening to it
I always picture an old western horse chase with the sheriff and his deputies chasing an outlaw.
Alecia Ward know who Johnny Klebitz is? This is his theme, that and '5 to 1' The Doors
Ugandian knuckles
Same!
Red dead redemption 2~ x3
Alecia Ward who else thinks of John Wick Chapter 3 or Smokey and the bandit with this song?
Oh, Styx. I remember when I cast them aside as my least favorite band of all time. Oh, what a dumba** I was.
*dumb***
Ass is spelled with three letters.
First name Last name I was only censoring the "s"'s, though.
rushfan2596 If you were only censoring the two s's then you should have wrote your comment;
'I was only censoring the s's, though' Instead of... quoting the s's?
* u er bahd stowp been sou bahd wit' gremmer or spelln
**Phonetics spelling, I am from Reykjavik so Icelandic was my first language, please no hate.

As a noun? Verb? Adjective?
Kan't keep me down.
THIS SONG IS MAKING A HUGE COMBACK NOW!! THANKS FOR A GRAND SONG, STYX❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
we are so screwed.....
Omg... omg... omg... I... Supernatural
Gta IV The Lost And Damned/Supernatural :D
This was certainly my favorite song in the L&D soundtrack... If I learned anything from that game, is that if I had a Harley, I'd be playing this song really loud while I ride.
Here's how old I am-STYX has been my favorite group since I was a teenager and I STILL have the ORIGINAL VINYL ALBUMS (all of them) from way back then...from the 70's on...and they're still in great shape, too!
Nice!
I love this music I grew up on it from my mom I watch supernatural but this music is amazing in it's own right!!!
Here because of dangerusswilson! Go Steeers!
Renegades days are numbered!
- Amen!!
I feel like watching "Supernatural" when I listen to this song.
Imagine runnin' from the law while this song's playin'
yeah i love that show just started watching
Amazing show.. o don't forget to watch the end of yellow fever |Season 4 i belive|.. Jensen is awesome and funny..... AWESOME!!!!
Song works better for Narcos season 2
i do in gta
Don't have to imagine, unfortunately. Ah, summer nights, Evan Williams, and Tennessee parties.
Supernatural is/was a good show and its music makes it better
My show choir is performing this, thought I'd check out the original. I'm glad I did, this fucking SLAPS.
I think this song was perfect for GTA IV.
What station does it show up on?
Doctor Mothoid Liberty Rock Radio. It's only in the DLC.
YES
My mother has never forgiven my father for the fact that on their wedding video you can clearily see him mouthing the first few bars of this song.
What a Chad
It's one of those songs. Ya gotta sing, too. I'm with y'all about the music. Love listening to this period of music.
Sounds like a hoot 😅!!
Hilarious!
This weekend, I was camping out in the middle of nowhere and started singing, “Oh, Mama… I can hear you a-crying I’m so scared and all alone…” and I heard the rest of the verse answer back.
Haha! What an awesome way to meet new people!
🤘😆
@@southtexas71 I wouldn't quit your day job, you won't make it as a gambler.
