Today I'm sharing a super neat fun fold card called a "Slide & Lock". This has been around for a while, but it's relatively new to me and maybe new for you too! This is an easy card to make, surprisingly, with LOTS of possibilities!
In my video, I demonstrate one card and share three others (which also includes a few sneak peeks of new products). I also forgot to film my introduction in landscape mode (oops) and didn't really want to take the time to redo it. Keepin' it real, right friends? LOL Anywho, I hope you enjoy today's demonstration!

I watched someone else do this fold a couple weeks before I found yours, Tina. Maybe it was the teaching style but it looked so complicated. And you've made it look so completely easy. I love how you measured the 1st gate, and simply made the other side meet up!!! Thank you thank you thank you! It works!

Tina, you have so inspired me. Finally I have a way to keep my gate folds closed other than a band. Love these so much. You rock with your videos and teaching but especially for showing the finished products where we can screen shot them to printout. ( lest I forget…LOL)

I am loving these cards, Tina! They're all beautiful, but I think the sheep take the cake for me. I love when your fur-babies make an appearance (or noise) on your vids ;) I turned it up louder, but couldn't hear him? p.s. I'm gonna share this video with an Aussie dear friend of mine who raises/rescues baby lambs and is a card-maker.

Thank you! I like varying my cards a bit. I've been using belly bands, or overlapping elements the catch on each other. I like being able to add another method to keep these gatefold closed.

I did my nails with the leafing and they worked great.
Awesome! How did you do it? Just add the gold leafing on wet polish? I can't wait to try it! Years ago I mixed our Dazzling Diamonds glitter with clear polish and it was beautiful!
