  • Graeme Porter is a fantastic dad however he's seen differently by others. As a child, he was diagnosed with an intellectual disability and no one expected him to represent his country, drive, work full time, get married and have a family. Graeme is a basketball coach, a racecar driver, and an athletes' representative on New Zealand's Special Olympics Committee. Living with his intellectual disability means that sometimes his family miss out on attention. It's time for Graeme to step up.

    He seems to be involved in his interests, but they take up his time when he should be more involved with his family. I see his wife eventually getting tired of being the single parent and and having an absent husband.

    Why is he going to work in a dirty shirt? It seems juvenile, like how I really waited too many days between washing my apron part of my uniform as a later teenager working at a smoothie shop 35 hours/week in college.

    I think he got autism and adhd too

      He was sporty and had a group of friends as a child . Autism does not match the description. He had a communication disorder and a bit of learning disability, like so many average people.

    Why did she marry him? She appears of 'average' intelligence. Does she work? Seems like she would enjoy some contact with peers or a chance to enjoy her own interests and friends.
