Toby introduced me to Colombia with a great trip a few years ago, and I've been back by myself since as well. Sadly this year's trip was binned thanks to Covid-19, but I'll be back as soon as the opportunity presents. Lovely place!

Great video, Toby, covering a lot of different and worth-while sites! I've flown them all, with the exception of Api'a. Also in the Cauca Valley, La Merced would be another great launch. Bucaramanga and the paragliding sites near Bogota' (e.g. San Raphael, El Parai'so) are probably too far off the beaten track for your Colombia tours?
Thanks Rudi. We visit La Merced every year and a few others. Bogota and Bucaramanga sites are a bit off our track though. So many great places to fly in Colombia!
Another bit of high class video with accurate words of wisdom. I have been lucky enough to fly three of the sites mentioned and the descriptions are spot on. Great place to spend the worst of winter.

Great video! I’m backpacking my way through the Americas at the moment with my wing. I’ll be in Colombia by Feb. Any tips on what sites are best for a low airtime pilot not yet going XC?
Hi James. Colombia has loads of sites. We only covered a few. Of the few we covered Piedechinche is the most accessible with a HUGE landing. There's also usually a few local pilots around so it's also easy for a ride up. Enjoy!

Which sites are best for my newer-pilot friends?
It's all about the coffee!! There are a hundred other sites we didn't cover though. In Colombia, generally launches are the best in the world in stark contrast to landings which can be challenging. Of the sites we covered, Piedechinche is the most accessible to newer pilots.

Dunno to be honest. They have a website where you could send a request to book onto one of their trips. I believe Colombia 2023 is fully booked. But could be wrong
