I have had my Kodiaq sportline for over 5 years and 95,000 trouble free KM’s Plan to keep it for another 4-5 years before updating to a hybrid or EV Great car indeed
Tom, Tom, Tom. You missed a perfect opportunity to play bigger kid in all the right ways by folding down the headrest wings that support your head from flopping to the side when sleeping. Also, the Cargo Elements could have been pointed out as another part of Skoda’s ‘simply clever’ campaign. I bought an MY22 Kodiaq Style with everything (including electric tow bar and 7yr service pack), but the sunroof and love it. It’s such a shame their after sales service doesn’t match the quality of the product. A Sportline was $5,000 more at the time with everything exactly the same except for wider colour choice and progressive steering. When driving, you missed the opportunity to use DCC to select Sport Mode and really push it. I use it when driving one up and it is quite surprising how responsive it is for only 132kW/320Nm and 4700mm long!! Great review. Lloyd
I bought a 2023 Skoda Kamiq that went into production in 2019. I had hoped it would be totally sorted, but came out of the factory with 3 faults that took 5 visits and 12 weeks to repair. 3 more faults since. I'm very disappointed with Skoda's aftersales service. I moved from VW products in the hope of better service, but they are equally dreadful. Such a pity as I like VW Group products. My wife on the other hand is over the moon with her 2021 Kia Seltos and the great service she has received.
Strange. We bought a 2023 Skoda Karoq that's been exceptional, faultless. My wife said it's the first car she's ever 'loved' as in, it's not 'just a car' she actually feels something for it haha
@@fred3527 unfortunately it's well known that VW Australia doesn't do customer care particularly well, so it's somewhat of a lottery I suppose when you buy a VW / Skoda / Audi...if it develops issues will they resolve them satisfactorily?! In your case it appears not.
I love Skoda’s, my brother has a Superb diesel wagon with absolutely no complaints, even driving on country roads every day. I still don’t think I could come at a Skoda for depreciation and the after sales service😬

Record new vehicle sales in recent years means plentiful supply of used vehicles coming onto the market especially in popular categories like SUVs. Add to this the flood of new, cheap Chinese cars and the resale values of most vehicles is inevitably going to soften...
Kodiaq was designed as a 7-seater from initial concept; Tiguan had the extra seats and boot grafted onto a 5-seater design several years later. The VW was the copy! Drive both, and the Skoda is the superior package. When I bought the Kodiaq, the equivalent Tiggy Allspace was $5k more expensive. This might eliminate at resale time, but I'm going to keep it until EVs are a sensible proposition.

Depends what you're looking for. Cx60 if prefer cruising, Kodiaq if prefer driving.
