Thor, in case you've noticed, I haven't been on you tube much, and facebook not at all. My sister's tumor has been all consuming for our family. Long story short, we finally found a hospital AND Oncology surgeon that was on her plan and would take her. She was admitted on Monday and moved to pre-op yesterday. My older sister has been at the hospital all day with her. She went into surgery around noon and just got out, AND all went WELL, they say they got all the basketball sized tumor out and preliminary tests show it is benign. Not cancerous! Final biopsy results will be in a few days. When Dee gets home from work we are heading to the hospital. Thank you, Amy and everyone for your prayers and well wishes.Rob
Hello rob im glad she got the treatment she needed and great that its not cancerous send my well wishes to her and hope shes well soon ill give you a mail in i bit just home today so lots of catching up to doo 😊 Thor
Thank you so much for this video Thor i have a tesoro deleon but always wanted a cortes, and well today i bought one 210 quid on ebay .. this test was exactly what i was looking for I also have a NEL tornado coil cant wait to get it on the cortes when it arrives and try it .. i'm very surprised by your test just how deep or far its picking things up i didn't expect that at all
@@Smrecycled i still use this machine now and then back to a simpler time i always used it in discrim mode i now mostly use the smallest of the mine lab vanquish range as its handy and light and gets just as good depth as the leg end nokta good luck with your new machine happy hunting 🏴🏴👍👍
Nice video. I use a Tesoro Vaquero with an eleven inch double "d" coil to get a little more depth. I use a Tesoro Mojave for mineralized areas .... very good for small gold and coins, but not quite as deep. Happy Hunting and God Bless, Greg and Rhona
Nice always good to hear from a fellow tesorian if your on fb there's a few great groups I'm part of for tesoro oes called tesoro diggers us ,team tesoro and treasure by tesoro great groups for tesoro thanks for watching I'll be doing the nel tornadoes coil next 😊Gl&hh Thor 😊
Hello friend i dont use vdi to much on the cortes i just listen .it will be interesting to see how much depth changes when i get round to pit testing thanks for watching Gl&hh Thor 😊
Thors Treasure You will find that when Coins or Relics have been in the ground..for decades or so..the Ora field and conducting and soil conditions will still affect target signals..!! And depths But that the fun of metal detecting.. You never know what the next target 🎯 might BE..🤔
Great test thank you. I would recommend giving the metal content of each item as you did some of them IE: 80% cooper or 100% pewter. Not trying to be critical but in other countries we don't know what a three pence consists of. Thank you for working so hard to bring us this video.
Hello friend thanks for your input and so true a three pence is mostly a copper coin, i hope you get some great finds if you get one great machines i will be doing a field test soon this was really just for my own reference as i bought a bigger coil for it thanks for watching Gl&hh Thor 😊
@@ThorsTreasure I have a Tesoro Comapdre and bought a Garrett at max sold it 1 month later and got a Teknetics G2 but really want another Tesoro neither of the other 2 are as quite or built as well as a Tesoro. I am trying to decide between the Vaquero, Deleon or the Cortes. Thanks for the great video! Looking forward to more I sub'd.
@@linr2870 I've always wanted a compadre to try out I love my Cortes the only thing I'd change about is more waterproofing as I live in Scotland we get a lot of rain lol thanks very much for subscribing Gl&hh Thor 😊
Hi Thor and nice video buddy. Not been one for air testing myself but I know a lot of people do love them. Very interesting numbers you get for your finds on your machine. I do find numbers change on deep targets i.e. it could be a 42 in the ground and once the plug has been cut and soil taken out the numbers change, as does the tone. Once unearthed the numbers change again and the tone is much stronger. Just have to remember that even though your getting some awesome depth in air tests that abstructions can alter this slightly along with the numbers and orientation of objects. Have you ever tried this test with Coins Flat and then on Side? You will find it fun as they give you all manner of different numbers and tones. Also if you have a garden it may work out a lot better for you as there is no indoor EMI that can mess around with the machine tests. Keeps you busy when you can't get out that's for sure eh! 👍If I have droned on or gone off topic please just tell me to shut up 😂 ATB GL & HH LittleJohn Metal Detecting 🇬🇧
Hello john no no its all true i just done this video for anyone searching the tesoro cortes as theres none out there and also for my own refrrence to see how it differs from the nel , i plan on doing a pit test aswel see what it reads in the ground ,and your absoutly right like the nail on one side it was shallow and the top of thr nail got alot more depth ,i should have really shown the numbers on vdi too but i dont use them myself i just listen if im not digging everything and most but the aliminum can would most likely came in at 95 😅everything seems to be 95 on this machine thanks for watching john Gl&hh Thor 😊
No worries buddy and like you said the numbers are only really there as an indication of the possible type of metal your going to encounter. It's funny as I have spent so many years using Digital VDU Machines finding many a great find but now I have been using this New ApoloniA Silver Max Pro from Pirate Metal Detectors that is Analogue I have been finding even more awesome finds that I guess have been coming up as Foil or Can Slaw numbers on the Digital machines but as this machine has no digital readout you just have to dig every good or iffy signal. I dig more scrap but I have unearthed so many Hammered and CEltic GOld coins within a few months it's unreal? And I have been over these areas before with many machines on different settings? It's very Iron infested so maybe the Ferrous is just too much for them? But this ApoloniA SMP tells you "Tone Wise" if there is a Non Ferrous item in with Ferrous! Really weird indeed. Taking my friend Tony out this Monday onto the fields to see what he comes up with as I may need to change my settings on my Deus, E-Trac and other machines!
Hello john best thing i could do with the cortes is tape the vdi lol i like that machine it reminds me of a tejon not that ive owned one and its good that in the air test you can hear how faint signals can be and earphones really boost it too thanks again john
