We always stay home for New Years. 20 minutes before midnight we carry Sparkling Cider to the Town Square and have an outdoor toast to the New Year. I open my back door to let out the old and say goodbye & thank you. Then to the front door open it and invite the New Year in then we blow cinnamon through the threshold to welcome heath happiness and Prosperity. After 40 years of marriage it has been great.

Happy New Year!! It started off great. My daughter was in town. We went to see fireworks on the river in New Orleans. My daughter and her boyfriend continued celebrating on bourbon st. They had just left off bourbon st at 3 am right before the evilness happened. I was so emotional and Thanking God. I still get chills thinking about it. At the same time my heart hurts and prayers goes out to all the victims and their families.🙏🏽🙏🏽.
