Awww don’t cry…You seem to be the best mom….I just lost mine in March 2024, I regret the times we didn’t get along. We did get to a wonderful place…I think most girl go through this with mom…You guys will be fine..xoxo
& this is why I love your channel! You are so real and raw and just everything a young woman needs to see to grow in the right direction!! Your openness and vulnerability is appreciated beyond words! So happy I found your channel when I did ❤ love u Chee! Keep being amazing
Thank you for sharing about your daughter. My only child/ daughter turned 18 in November and from 6th-8th grade I didn’t like her at all. We still have our moments but we are so much better. It was just great to hear I wasn’t the only one to experience this.
Thank you for the vulnerability about you and your beautiful daughter and the relationship.. sn I was watching with my daughter (10) and we have these moment as well and I often feel no other mother has this experience. Thank you for sharing ❤ because you didn’t have too ❤❤❤
I believe this is something most/all mother_daughter relationships go through. But, when you're on the other side of it, it's wonderful. (I had to put my daughter out for a period of time......she went with her father, full time and through that, she learned a lot. She thought the grass was greener. But......) She's now 28 and thriving. I'm proud of her.
I love your channel and fashion sense but what really sets you apart for me are your career talks! I’m in a similar line of work (but earlier on in my career) and find your insight to be so valuable! I’m so here for your story about your time in the industry!!
I absolutely love that you did the work needed on your relationship with Charlie. The black mother/daughter relationship is sometimes so fractured mainly because we as mother wanna be right instead of just listening. I wish we would normalize apologizing to our daughters when we are wrong about something. Charlie will be an amazing mom one day because she has an amazing example.
Thanks for sharing your vulnerability about your daughter. That was the realest description I have ever seen on the internet. It’s real and as mothers we do have to self reflect and apologize when necessary to our children. Kudos to you for doing the work and creating a healthy relationship with your daughter.
Living abroad with my children when they were you for 10yrs was amazing. Traveling abroad has afforded my children the opportunity to be well cultured. The experience alone was awesome, I encourage anyone if you can travel abroad at least once.
Awe! I have a 17 year old daughter so I know! But we are close. We talk about everything and she is a little activist. I'm proud of her. Big hugs to you! And your hair held up amazingly 🙌🏿
I'm seeing this video late but when you spoke about your daughter and the challenge of black mothers and daughters I not only relate but my heart went out. Thank you for opening up and I pray God wraps you and your family in Grace. You are showing us that womanhood is multilayered and must be sorted like a puzzle. May the journey for you be blessed.
At hospitals, the sheets and blankets are taken off the bed and thrown into a bag to be sent to the washers, along with bodily fluids and whatever else is on them. It's the same thing at hotels. They aren't dirty per se, but...nah, I'm not putting the hotel washcloth on my face or body. I don't like using the big towels either. And I will be bringing my own sheets to the hospital if I ever have a baby, lol. Also, regarding your daughter, that's just how mother-daughter relationships are sometimes. I have always been a daddy's girl. My mom and I were not close when I was a kid. I remember going places with her, and we would not talk at all-just silence. It wasn't until I became an adult that we started to bond. We text all the time. We talk on the phone weekly (usually for hours). My dad unexpectedly passed away in February 2024. And I'm so thankful that she and I have a good relationship. My cousin also went through it with her daughter, who's now 20, and they are very close.
I love your style, we’re both NewYorkers soI get the vibe. I love 💕 to travel and I love when we can step outside and have friends outside of your own group. Thank you for sharing your journey with us. Your my good “virtual girlfriend “..😂😂😂. ❣️
Love your vulnerability about mommy and daughter relationship, beautiful story. I come from a dysfunctional motherhood. Your a great mommy, Charlie is so lucky to have you as a Mother. God bless you and your family 😢❤
Chee! I love your channel ❤🫶🏾👸🏾 You have done an amazing job building your channel and taking us along for the journey with you 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 Just by being authentically you ! That story about getting into China whew Chile but I’m happy that it worked out in the end 🙏🏾 The story about you & your daughter Charlie had me in tears 😢 Bc it’s absolutely nothing like a mother & daughter relationship & bond ❤
Appreciate you sharing and opening yourself up These vlogs were sooooo good. Normally, an hr is my limit. I felt like I was watching a tv series. The content was so good. You're so brave, so strong, and seem like a truly genuine person. May God bless you and your family.
I got a lot of enlightenment from this vlog..I was curious abt how you were received outside of co-workers, the fears of immigration, u touched on all of my fears with traveling & yet I'm in aw that this was a work trip 😃
Chee ❤ the mother Daughter relationship! Yes!! I’m in it now! My daughter is 9 yrs old. I was in tears! Like I told my husband the same thing - I needed help. 😢😢😢it’s so real - OMG - all of what you just said! I think about her wayward in the streets if we don’t have a good relationship. GIRL - in my head. ❤ I’m talking with other moms -it’s the same. It’s the same thing….wow - so relatable I get it ❤
OMG Chee! What a travel nightmare! Three cheers for your hubby! He is a ride-or-die partner 🎗 - I LOVE a white shirt all day/every day! Parenting is a daily struggle, but they are our babies, and we must stay in the fight! I have a son, and what you are saying, I want through, and my turning point was that I had to listen to and really hear him, which made our relationship 100% better. Shout-out to all parents staying in the struggle!
Chee, my husband and I travel a lot for work and leisure. We have a firestick that we keep in our tech bag. We plug it in the HDMI ports in the back of the hotel tv. We have all our apps on it
I loved this. ❤ Mothers and daughters have the most special and difficult relationships. It was the same to my mom and I know it was her prayers and God that kept me and got me together. ❤ Many blessings Chee! ❤
No ma’am to the washing the face with hotel towels I bring my own. I’m so weirded out by it too! You are not alone.. even with the texture with foods fabrics all of the things 😂😂😂❤❤❤
Awwwww cheee! These girls are hard. I have two, daughters and I’ve learned how to parent differently for them both because like you said I didn’t want to loose them. And Gods faithful. Glad you got home safe! We were scared!!’
Cher, thanks for your honesty. My daughter is now 23 and we went through it girl. You’re a great mom and so she has a great foundation so once that’s in place they always find their way back.
Chee I am looking at your vlog on my television at home and just to let you know I totally appreciate your vulnerability and transparency about your relationship with your daughter Charlie I have experience a very very similar situation with my daughter when she was a teenager my daughter is 30 years old now married with her own children we were and we still are extremely tight thank you for sharing that I also cried with you looking at this I absolutely love your style as a beautiful brown sister may God continue to bless you and your family 🤎🤎💪🏾💪🏾💐🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
This vlog was absolutely great Chee!!! I appreciate the vulnerability about you and Charlie's relationship. I've had a similar parenting situation with my son but mine was worse and I'm glad you didn't go through half the things i went through with my son. My son allowed bad influences to take over his life which landed him in an even worse situation as an adult. Charlie is a good kid and you guys will be fine! Make sure to have daily conversations with her about her day and just life in general. Share yours with her as well. Those types of dialogs are very important nowadays. ❤❤
Here for Part 2 of your work travel vlog, Chee!! Glad to hear that you made it thru the immigration mix up. LOL @ the terrible TP series. Now let me go enjoy the hour plus content.🙂
Thanks for sharing your experience raising your daughter. The teenage years are trifling, they go into the teens and completely change. I went through same with my daughter and now she’s doing so well and our relationship is amazing. Please share the journey of your career. I was working in the fashion industry and it wasn’t easy at all to work your way into corporate. Love your content, keep doing what you do ❤
Love how you share all the fashion tips but mostly how you also share parts of your life that moms with daughters can really relate to. I have 2 daughters 10 years apart and I have already gone through it with one and still got one more to go through it with. But I feel like I will be better prepared for the second!!! Thanks for sharing.
Chee l really appreciate your transparency and vulnerability. My son is 21 and our relationship has definitely gotten better over the years. Travel especially international is my muse.
CHEE not them trying to send you back to Thailand!!! I would have cried. You are a great mom. I would love to hear your career story and journey. It's so amazing to see the behind the scenes what a boss you are leading g your teams. I love Coach and would love to know how you grew within the company.
Oooh Chee they thought you were stacking them thangs to smuggle. Let em know all we transport is FASHION! ❤ I’m glad you were able to work things out 👏🏾.
Hi Chee! You are absolutely fabulous! Please keep the long vlogs/videos coming, you are my newest inspiration and you’re so fun to watch. As someone who’s working to be more consistent with content, your videos encourage me to push myself 🥹
Chee I love you downnnnnnn. You are so relatable you’re not pretentious your not fake or clicky acting , your personality is so real . I love your content it’s fresh always have. I have a teenage daughter and I totally understand and your venerability in this video is why I love you I totally connected.
Sis as a mom of a teenage daughter I get it, stay strong and know you are doing your very best. Our daughters have to know we are human too, we make mistakes but we are not always wrong because they don’t agree or understand where we are coming from.
I really appreciate you being open. My daughter is this age and I just found out some things about her that I don’t know how to handle. I am going to keep trying but this helps
Thank you for sharing, I can relate with my daughter and I relationship but I thank God we've overcome that as well and our relationship is stronger. God bless 🙏🏿
I ❤❤❤❤ the long vlogs, especially the get ready and Vietnam 1 and 2. I have been watching you before because of Jenee and Monroe. Then I found out that you worked for Coach in a leadership role and I am a Coach girlie 😊. Currently saving for a large navy Empire tote. So proud to be a subbie. Keep up the good work Chee!!!
Thank you so much for sharing about your mother daughter relationship. Girl, I understand it’s inspiring I’m taking notes my daughter is younger and I see what’s instore. lol
Hi Chee, as a travel expert, I want to say that now that you've gone through this experience, you'll be more ready for next time. Just a tip: keep a copy of your itinerary handy when flying internationally. It can really help if you lose your passport or face any reentry problems. I'm so glad everything turned out great! 🙏🏽 Wishing you a Happy New Year!
Chee I love your long vlogs, I appreciate the time you spend with us. Sharing your career travels is so enlightening. I never use the hotel face towels I bring all of my own toiletries, body sponges and disposable face towels.
I really appreciate your vulnerability because I can relate to being a mommy’s girl then having a difficult patch in with my mother and now working on rekindling that relationship. Charlie’s so lucky to have a mother like you 🥹💕
There is no need to explain your feelings/ emotions and apologize. You are entitled, and it is beautiful to see. You make mistakes but look at your mother/daughter relationship now. BEAUTIFUL Be gentle with yourself sometimes. ❤❤ Love your channel!
Happy New Year, Chee!! 🎉 I thoroughly enjoyed the two Asia vlogs! What an amazing trip and opportunity to see your business life. You are indeed the consummate business and travel professional. 🌟Loved seeing you navigate travel throughout Asia. Also, your mother-daughter relationship update was so touching. ❤Here's to a blessed and amazing 2025 for you and your family. 🙏🏾
Happy New Year! Glad you made it back safely and that you have the type of family that would have gotten on that plane! Peace Love and Light! Here's to better everything good in 2025!
I thoroughly enjoyed this entire Vlog, the highs and the lows. Your career is so inspiring. I know you touched on it lightly how you started at Coach but didn't go too much into detail so a chit chat about that would be awesome. You're my successful BF in my head 😂.
Glad you both were able to make it to the other side for your relationship. I get what you’re saying about travel and I think other people that watch you and travel for work will understand. I am sure you get the reaction of “oh it must be nice” when people find out what you do for work and that you travel for work. I travel for work as well. While it does give you great experiences there are some cons to traveling as well. Like you said, your routine changes and there are other things that you “do without” while you are away and it does matter. I know for me there are plenty of times in my career that I am working in my hotel room until midnight because I am preparing for multiple meetings the next day. Overall, I enjoy traveling for work but at the end of the day there is no place like home! LOL your description of you and your husband’s culinary taste was hilarious.
Chee!!!!! Thank you for sharing your relationship with your daughter. My daughter is 12 and I see the difference in her and I definitely can relate you. ❤
Happy New Year love the vlog favorite part is actually you talking about your daughter. I think all mother's and daughter's have that at some point. Had it with my mom a little young teen I think but that phased out and she was literally one of my besties and as an adult we had sooooooo much in common
I would have been terrified with that whole immigration thing. Glad you were okay. You had me cracking up when you were eating and was like what’s that? They say the belly. Your like the belly of what??!! 😂😂😂 You are an amazing mom and don’t forget that. It’s so evident that you love your daughter.❤
New subscriber here❤ Love you and your Vlogs. I knew that Coach had talented, stylish, designers and teams because they are bringing the heat. Now don’t get me wrong they’ve been that girl but honey they are really my fav as of late. Girl mom too so I definitely understand the way that you feel about raising a daughter. I love your style keep up the great work.
Cheeeeeeeeeee!!!💚💚💚 We love you!!!! Being international is a whole other ballgame and I’m glad you got through! Love a good vlog from you!! Even when you think you aren’t giving style. It’s def style present!!! You single handedly put me back on Coach.. would love to hear your story and see your Coach collection cause I know you have THEEEE PIECES!!!
Such a FABULOUS Vlog!!! 🙌🏾 Thanks for taking us along 😊 it’s great to see you in your element 💃🏾👑🔥🔥🔥. You’re sooo right! People need to travel the world 🌎. Can’t wait for the product design/career vlog too! Happy New Year to you 🥂🤩🥳🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
I loved this Vlog, It’s great to see how you navigate a beautiful family life and successful career all while remaining an amazingly relatable New Yorker… I am patiently watching and waiting for my Empire Bag to restock in the color I want, it will be my first new Coach since the 90’s. Thank you so much for representing your brand and our culture. The hug from your husband upon your return was so special. Stay blessed love, Happy NewYear!
Chee, vlogging is your thing! Your awesome personality fits it girl. Love it!
Awww don’t cry…You seem to be the best mom….I just lost mine in March 2024, I regret the times we didn’t get along. We did get to a wonderful place…I think most girl go through this with mom…You guys will be fine..xoxo

Thank God you are ok! The drama at immigration would’ve had me shook!!!
Chee, ❤ your content! I luv, luv, Luv to travel as well. St. Augustine said: “The world is a book and those who do not travel read only one page."

As a person who travels to non American countries I overstand this. Love it! Everytime I go back to my typical somewhere they instantly know my name 😂
I would LOVE to hear your career journey. Maybe do it in a GRWM or night time skincare routine.
Happy New Year love the vlog favorite part is actually you talking about your daughter. I think all mother's and daughter's have that at some point. Had it with my mom a little young teen I think but that phased out and she was literally one of my besties and as an adult we had sooooooo much in common
Coach did a great Come back!!!
Chee, your vlogs are so wonderful and relatable. Your vibe renewed my love of Coach products! Keep being you! Happy New Year to you and your family!

Parenting is challenging. Bravo for your commitment of doing the work.

Love, Love the vlog. Thank you!
Thank you for sharing; that immigration sh*T though, I don’t play with that! You’re such an inspiration ❤❤❤
Hey Chee 👋🏽 was waiting on this part 2 vlog!
I can definitely relate… I’m very picky when it comes to food.. “like a five year old”. I keep it simple especially when eating at restaurants!!
