Griddle cooking may just be my favorite method of outdoor cooking, it's way more versatile than most people realize until winter time that is, especially winter time where I live! My previous griddles (Blackstone 4 burner and Camp Chef 4 burner) really struggled in the extreme cold and winds which usually led me to either cook in my garage during the wintertime or just put my griddles away entirely for the brutal, snowy months that we receive. Until @halopg sent over their griddle... The Halo griddle solves every single problem that the other griddles faced. The griddle surface is placed down into the grill itself so no longer do I have to deal with the flames being blown out. The Camp Chef griddle definitely excels over the Blackstone in the wind category as well, but nowhere near is good as the Halo. Since the Halo griddle surface is made from hot rolled steal, I can now preheat the griddle on high AND with the lid down so my preheat times have DRASTICALLY reduced and since hot rolled steel mimics the behavior of cast iron, I don't have to worry about my griddle surface warping which is a pretty common occurrence with cold rolled steel griddles. Anyway, I talk about all these things in the video but if you have any questions or comments, please let me know!!! I hope you enjoyed this video and as always, help the channel out by leaving a like, comment, share and of course subscribe! As always, I appreciate you, thanks for watching. Now you gotta put some spicy seasoning in your holster jacket and make the obligatory “packing heat” joke :) Awesome video as always! Might get one of these griddles 👀
Oh yeah!!! I usually carry prosciutto in it so I can call it my “prosciutto pocket” 😂😂😂 Everything is on sale right now on their site and you can try code “BEERGR10” as well.
I am in my comfy living room, and you are making me cold watching this! I have to admit that Halo griddle is impressive. Not sure I'll pull the trigger on one, until I am ready to get rid of the camp chef. Trying to decide between an offset smoker or a pellet smoker right now. Those steaks looked just beautiful! Did you use a camera man this time because of the winds? If so kudos to whoever it was for being out there with you! Thanks for sharing and all of the content, my friend!
Hahahaha yeah it was a brutal test but that griddle impressed me too. There were wind gusts that almost made me quit but the flames never blew out. I’d love an offset but the stage of life I’m in right now with my little ones just demands easy pushing a button and walking away fits my demands at the moment. (Except for maybe a Santa Maria style grill😜) Enjoy your Sunday!

Respect to you my friend , love sent from belgium
Back atcha!
I never thought I'd say this in a steak video... I love that idea for the brussel sprouts. I never considered doing them that way!
