People take their lives at that bridge with some frequency. Walking into the center of the rotary is absolutely dangerous as that traffic is generally doing 20-30 mph and you REALLY dont want to try and stop in a rotary. Apply it with warm-hot water and scruby brush. Rinse and repeat…
Mostly gone on the first scrub and all gone on the second scrub.

Loved how adventurous you are and what a challenge, that rotary has to be one of the most busy and dangerous of all on Cape. Lived her most all my life and I wouldn't have had the guts to try it but thank goodness you made it! 😊

You are near my neck of the woods and I love that SW inspired you to camp in a rotary! However, that rotary is VERY busy with police always around because of the tourists. I was not surprised to have one come up to you and thought you were going to find a flashlight in your face after dark. :O I was also concerned about you crossing that traffic as a pedestrian!
Helpful hint removing pine sap.... use hand sanitizer. Rub it in and you will be able to lift it off. It's the alcohol in it but the viscosity helps to sit on the sap to soften it. Good luck!
    Love your channel!

I grew up around pine trees and yes sap is always getting on everything. The best thing I have found to remove the sap is called D-Solv-It which is a citrus based solvent cleaner. Just salk the spots in a bit and then scrub it out.

Bloody hilarious. Reminded of one of our many lockdowns here in Melbourne during the Covid Carry-on. I walked to a mates place for a beer one valley over.the police helicopter was up sniffing around for someone. In the dark I bumped into half of my small town, all out doing the same thing. Magnificent. 🇦🇺👍🍺

Many years ago the inmates in New England County Jails were fed Lobster because it was so cheap.
I just got back from going up to the Redwoods and then over to Mount Shasta and Mount Lassen. In the Avenue of the Giants I used to camp on the sly in the South Fork area of Humboldt County. It is private property owned by the big Timber Company. We found several hiding places. I loved doing that. The old NWP railroad ran through there and the track is still there. I am a Rail Fan. There are several tunnels which might be good for Stealth Camping. The train has not run for over 20 years. There are some disused Rolling Stock all along where the railroad went. It was shut down suddenly. There is a lot of railroad cars near Scotia, CA. Some call it the Ghost Train.
Near the north side of Mount Shasta is a Veterans Memorial near Highway 97, north of Weed, CA. I slept in among the displays to honor Americas Veterans.
Further east and south toward Mount Lassen are a few Snow Cabins for Snowmobiles and such. There are fairly abandoned during the summer. I slept by one last night called Deer Mountain to the south of State Highway 97. I really loved the stars.
Some of this is fairly Stealthy and some is just totally legit Dispersed Camping.

The trick is to just walk out onto the roundabout and into the bushes in one "determined" move. When you move with purpose nobody gets suspicious and you would have made it the first shot in daylight. Walking around the thing half the day with all your cameras calls attention to yourself. Also, get a high vis traffic vest. Nobody questions people wearing a vest. Seems counter intuitive but it works.

Rotaries and roundabouts are different things, Cape Cod has both. The rotary is between state highways with no pedestrian access. It is like walking in the center median of a highway and not expecting anyone to think it is strange.

I tend to disagree because the town in live in has several of these, but the one in the center of town receives the most attention in the town FB group and everyone calls them rotaries. I’ve never heard of one referred to as a roundabout here in MA so it must just be a local thing.
