We got invaded three times in a row in the Stone Coffin Fissure and every time he ran toward them like a rabid dog and swiss-cheesed them before we could approach. One of them named "Friendly Maiden" dropped a Marika's Rune (80k runes). He ran past the dropped item and stabbed her to death. Didn't pick it up afterward, either. No fight he entered lasted more than five seconds. Took a few screenshots of the psycho to see what spear he used and that brought me here. Say what you want about this weapon but some wackos really ride or die this thing. Chase must become *The Spear of Nutella*

@@AweighFK or you just cheatengine them in, which is low risk as long as you spawn the items offline and dont do anything stupid. i have a hard time believing chase doesnt just spawn larval tears and boluses between builds ngl, the amount of actual upkeep of that stuff would be some insane downtime.

After watching the earth bender build, i am now 85% sure Chase has some kind of aim bot that allows him to hit people with pots and other throwables. Not really though. But i just don't understand how he almost never misses. It is probably the most impressive part of invasions. He just. Keeps. Hitting. Them.
I remember his firebomb throws in ds3, with the difference in aoe the hefty pots are definitely a bit easier. Anyway, the thing is: he has so many thousands of hours of just invasions that few people can boast the same free aim practice. He's good, and he worked for it.

I love playing as the red bear too 😊❤ I prefer setting up the talismans all for the roar though and just having the claws as a getoffme button. Exact same armor set up, it’s so badass looking ❤

The bear roar is actually insanely good. When I was built for it, I was doing like 1900 damage. And it has range and it’s very confusing when the attakc is actually gonna hit you. It’s very good
Yeah, it's one of the few incantations that I like. It has decent range, some hyper armor (once the roar starts), and great damage. I remember testing it for the first time on the 2nd Lion boss in Rauh, fully maxed on damage. Mimic and I both hit it, and it was about 27K. Even in the base game, you can get 4-5K per cast. Love it!
I have been inspired by chasethebro so I got a PlayStation plus membership and started doing invasions. I'm in the East coast of the USA It's very common to invade only to immediately be sent back to your world due to various reasons. It happened to me a staggering 7 times in a row. Thank you Chase for your dedication to invasions I never knew they were so finicky.
Chase: has a deep understanding to poise, damage numbers, negation, all other aspects of PvP, but has such a minimal knowledge to remember which one is the host, lol. Love your videos
Did you know, these claws are one of the few weapons, where you can do a fake out from charging a heavy attack by tapping the dodge button mid charge. These claws will actually perform a very fast single slash and do a large backflip creating a lot of distance. You can follow this up with a light attack to leap back in very fast, if you want to. But on this weapon class particularly the fake out is SO USEFUL! (in PvE and PvP) The beast claws are my new fav weapon by far.
Highly recommend trying the Bear Roar with a higher faith Stat. I use it as a get away from me tool when I duck around corners. It catches people off guard and I've gotten multi-kills with it before.
Okay so I had a meme idea for a build based around the Carian Thrusting Shield, but it turns out it's actually pretty nuts. My stats are 60/16/30/28/14/60/12/9 which is 150 on the Prisoner class, this shield gets 575 AR 2-handed with these stats when Heavy infused which is pretty respectable for a shield BUT you may be asking "why heavy? Wouldn't Magic be better?" and the answer is yes Magic would be better, if we weren't buffing it with Scholar's Armament which pumps it all the way to 804. Oh you can also backstab and riposte as well as throw a ridiculous variety of AoW's on it: Bloodhound Step, Piercing Fang, Hoarah Loux, Giant Hunt, Storm Assault, Holy Ground, Hoarfrost/Divine Beast Frost Stomp. It's crazy
Chase, I don't know if anyone else mentioned it, but when you're charging a heavy attack with the Bear Claws, you can hit dodge to do a sorta uppercut backflip to create some distance.
