    We recently purchased a LSX 900 Legend Series Tub from Master Spas and the framing looks to be untreated lumber? I was under the impression this was to be treated lumber for this line of hot tubs. Maybe I’m missing something however thanks for your time!

    We are looking at a plug and play at wayfair or Costco for under 3k. Is that a waste of money. The one we like is made AquaRest Jacuzzi 5-Person Hot Tub. Are aquarest any good

    SHOP AROUND!!!! My local dealer wants $9,995 for a South Seas 748L, a dealer the next state over has the same tub available for $7,200 + $300 shipping. A CalSpa dealer told me that prices are going up 30% on the next truckload (could be BS).

      100% correct except the 30% is bullshit its likely more like a $5-10% factory increase :-)

    Finally got my Jacuzzi J445 Due in July, arrived last week, “Take it or leave it or lose your slot, “no discounts and frowned at for asking for a trade in price. Anyway its here and its great.I did read your reviews and you had an influence on my decision, so keep up the good work.

    Chris I've got a question that maybe never gets asked. If I lose power at home will a portable generator run a hot tub just to keep the water moving and not run the heater? Is that an option? If not how would I keep the water from freezing?

    • @ChrisWheatley
      @ChrisWheatley  2 года назад

      I always have a small heater in my hot tub down under the skirt by the pumps in safe location with power on and the cord hanging out of the skirt, if I have a long power outage and run my jenny and plug it in, it will keep you out of trouble

    What are some of the higher end quality hot tub companies in the market right now?

    • @ChrisWheatley

      Jacuzzi and Master spas are my top ones, then there are a few like Sundance, Coast, Artesian, that are close seconds then brands like Bullfrog, PDC etc that have a few faults but are not nightmares.

    • @ChrisWheatley
      @ChrisWheatley  2 года назад

      There are a few top brands. Since Covid a lot of manufacturers are cutting corners to keep up with demand but right now I'd stick with Master, Jacuzzi, Coast, Sundance or the Bullfrog X-series

      Hi, great channel with great info. Thoughts on Arctic Spa? They’re made here in Canada and seemed decent from what I could read.
