Great video, loved seeing the potatoe digger working, can't wait to see it in action in the field. Those salesman with the egg story were good at their jobs, lol.
You're well trained anyway Phil, tighten on the diagonal always!! Reminds me of myself and the father doing the head gasket on one of our David Browns last year, takes practice to do things to any father's standards 😂
Great work the two Phil's getting the new hitch on your 35x. The 35x was the tractor I first learnt to do tractor work on. She runs sweet and will drive your spud digger no probs. Look forward to the spud digging video and the next up grades to the 35x. Interesting video Phil keep them coming.
Always nice bolting on new bits😊 better when someone else is buying them for you 😁😆 great stuff. Love the panoramic platform tractors😁 loved using and still use our old 460 nuffield it was fast on the road to in its day.
It's coarse thread fine thread phill☺ . Great to see these product still available for old tractors so they can still turn out some work . I Have a 35x multi power and 135 multi power. The 135 has it's original pickup hitch. Keep up the good work 👍 by the way it might be time to invest in a trolley Jack . Would have made fitting that hitch easier
That was a quick FIX with the hitch, that's a fair lump of a drawbar on a 35. That was very egg citing to see the fate of the egg, perfect machine for making an omelette 😂. Looking forward to the potato harvest. Great video Phil and father Phil.
There's a lad down my way known as Mick the fig (god knows why) but for his 40th family bought him a 135 with reg "FIG..." always thought it was made up but maybe not now seeing that 🤔
Phil, you should put a foot throttle onto the MF35X, would be useful when shunting trailers etc with the PUH when you get the rest of the hitch parts? Agriline have the foot throttle kit as well. Be careful with all those moving parts when using the potatoe digger.
Yr some yoke farmer Phil lol 😂 thinking that yr egg was going to make it safely through the harvester 🤣🤡 great video all the same. Keep them coming You's do get through some work load there on yr farm.❤❤
Jaysus that could have been a lovely fried egg 😁, but we won't know now 🤣🤣🤣 Can't wait to see the spuds being dug. It's years since I picked spuds, some job it used to be. 😓

I love yr videos normally but yr going backwards there,, too much time & money spent on fixing up old tractors that aint been realistically used anymore, i spent a lot of my life driving and operating tractors etc.I wouldn't want to go back to the now redundant tractors.I still have and always will, have the aches & pains that they caused me physically, 2 new hips at 52 is not what i wished for ,when i was driving those older machines, but thats what they give me..Modern day farmers dont know how lucky they are for the comfort they have today .
Great Stuff Phil, love seeing things being worked on
Love the repair and tidying videos keep them coming

Seems like a pretty cool rig I want one now for my row and a half of spuds lol
You should get the 135 out of the feild and fix it up and put it on the spud digger
Why would you go to the hassle if the 35x is there
@@lukehickey7453 just a suggestion

Seeing your 35 makes me regret selling mine 20 years ago

Wow never seen a HD clevis used on anything smaller than a 178 before.
There isnt an Irish father in Ireland who doesnt go for a long snooze on the sunday
Was the studs and holes on the hitch plate 5/8 or 3/4 inch?
Can you make a video of the finished 35x automatic hitch

Anyone else image the theme song from kilinascully as Phil left to go to the yard
They had a 65 instead of a 35x.
@@amdvideos3610 it was just the video angle of the camera view 😫

I get a notification about all videos that I'm subscribed to.
Where did u get the hitch for Massey 35 Phil
The egg might have worked if there was soil around it
It wont be safe around Longford with potatoes flying around the place!
Maybe invest in a lift? With all the maintenance and stuff u do it’s prob worth it!
We plan on putting in a car lift after the workshop is cleared out
i seen a white car in the other shed with a black spoiler what is it ????
Our one had an elevator
How much was the hitch?
Change dash on 35
Whos got a passion for the jdm classics ???
Me😂
Was that a Levin I spotted.
No mr2

who owns the mr2
I do
Love them....any chance u wud fill us in about it
Don’t think that’s a 35X with that Dynamo bracket but a 35 spec’d with a diff lock.
We had the engine rebuilt when we restored it and the engine has the longer stroke, hence we badged it 35x
The serial number will confirm it, think 35X came in November 1962 with serial number 302413 being the first one.
I’ll have a look at it tonight 👍
35x also had diff lock and live drive
Did you get a good discount for the broken lynchpin lol.
The lynch pin had to be taken apart to take it out of there
