Every new car is coming out with larger or more screens. It's getting closer to being in a mobile office/living room with the amount of screens nowadays. I know I'm in the minority that I prefer little to no screens, I get enough screen time at work and at home, when I hop into my car - I just want to drive and enjoy the outdoors.
I agree with you on the screens. I prefer the one 8 in screen on my 2017 Mustang.
And no way to replace the screens after they break post warranty when the car is 10+ years old.
So the S3 now has the Golf R upgrades. Nice.
The zr1 C8 Corvette already coming soon. It feels like the zr1 C7 Corvette came out not that long ago.
2019 🤷🏻♂️
It's quite a miss opportunity for GM not putting the engine of the zr1 C7 Corvette in the Silverado and Sierra from factory to be a Ram TRX and Raptor R competitor.
I like the camera/lighting setup in this video. Thanks for the weekly updates 🙏🏼
Uuggghhh more crossover SUVs 🥱😮💨🤢
Forcing out low volume ICE sports/super cars doesn't make sense since they sit most of the time. The performance HEV versions would be a good compromise with eco and sport modes.
Can’t wait for the ADX. I loved the size of the HRV, but I wanted something a little nicer & with more power. This sounds like it fits the bill perfectly.
Acura CDX in China is the first gen HRV we got in NA. They got the 1.5T with an 8 Spd DCT. That is how it should've been offered in NA and the Integra should've gotten that transmission as well as the upcoming ADX that with have a CVT like the Integra as well.
Touch screen on the MDX is great! It’s a bummer that they got rid of the wrist rest though. I never know where to rest my hand in modern Hondas/Acuras with the push button shifter.
That EQS looks like an April Fools joke. Ewww
Love these weekly car updates. Thanks Matt!
Zr 1 will be insane. Thanks for covering the corvette models. Get behind the wheel of some new corvettes if you can. Comparing corvette models driving impressions would be a great video.
😊 8:38 wheels on the GV60 are siiicckk! Love em!
Stroll ain't wrong, sounds and smells are a pretty big part of the high-end sports car buying experience. ADX should be pretty cool, too!
Appreciate _your_ continued support, Matt.
Now get some rest brother.

Stay classy my friend.
Is there a solid reason why so many people are saying the ZR1 all have a new twin turbo system instead of a supercharger like previous versions?
I can tell you I worked there before 2020 and I heard twin turbo all along. Never heard of a supercharger for the C8. I think the blackwing was kind of the precursor for that.
There was a leak at some point on the GM parts website I believe that detailed all the versions.
Not sure if you’ve covered it but read up on the Land Rover Defender Octa!
I'll check it out, thanks!
Well, done, Matt!
Thanks Bobby!
ADX sounds good. The DCT from the ILX needs to make a comeback
100 extra horsepower of torque nice
Happy that Aston Martin will keep ICE into the 2030s and beyond, respect++ to Lawrence Stroll.
They need to switch to Cosworth v12 tho and drop AMG.
Bravo Aston Martin & Lawrence Stroll.👏🏼
It’s too bad European auto leaders think ALL Americans are “Honey Boo-boo”, “huge pickup truck” buyers (we’re NOT all Flyover state) people. I would buy that Alfa Milano in a heartbeat!! Of course, I’d also buy a new Brabus Smart #1 too! Hey Alfa, sell 3,000-8,000+ Milanos to us in California, Seattle, Portland, Miami, north Chicago, and New York City! 🤷🏼♂️🤔🤷🏼♂️😎
I just gave my deposit for the ZR1! I'm 2nd on the list of my dealership, the first being the owner 🙄
Curious if they give us an ADX type S
More than likely
That S3 looks horrible! The prev gen looked way better imo. Light and tails and the dif is nice. But the audi badge right there is so bad
I agree.
I think it looks kinda dope
That Alfa Romeo is hot
Not seeing Ev's is refreshing
The unthinkable ZR1: I bet it will be 100% EV
10 cars is just insulting. At that point don’t even bother, if it wasn’t for the paint you’d hardly notice. Difference between an svj and s can be spotted a mile away
They should put a fake grill with slats on the EQS since these manufacturers are so partial to fake vents and piped in auto sounds anyway. 🤭
It's ok Aston Martin, we know Porsche Taycan is taking all of that performance EV marketshare. Nothing can touch it right now. Not even a Model S Plaid. Also, that Lambo looks like a luchador.
The EQS looks worse and it was already bad. Also good for Aston, listen to the buyers vs forcing ev on everyone.
16:24 min - 😏
Wunderbar! Another Episode of the Matt Maran Friday Night Car News Show - with a lot of fast and electric topics again. Wishing everybody here a great day and a fantastic weekend ahead. Enjoy the News and your free time!
Rest in piss Evs, you won't be missed. I live all the delays. Waiting for the upcoming delays when the current delays are over.
The market regulates itself. People don't want shitty cars with tech still in beta, especially not when overpriced this much
The Tyre review guy who is from england or something, the best possible reviewer of performance tires i have experienced, has found that RWD cars perform better in the snow than FWD cars if equipped with winter oriented tires. He never makes a blanket statement, but it just works out that way. It makes sense if one grasps weight transfer and grip, as well as steerability. The lack of RWD cars is disheartening. It can take a rather basic sedan give it character and good handling characteristics. He also has seen Audi's quattro system rather sucking in the snow, and a simple BMW with the same tires outperforming it with xdrive. I dunno how exactly all this fits, but the obsession with AWD in these cheesy asian cars and american cars probably does little to nothing for snow safety. The only FWD car i have or would own is my Mini Cooper JCW hardtop. I am just ranting i guess, but i think the car industry creates fake winter capable and weather capable marketing gimmicks instead of actually safe and good handling all weather vehicles.
let’s gooo
🙂👍
Is anyone else getting bored with the new vehicles coming out? All SUVs or bland looking EVs.
That green sweater is so nice. I want one.
