    I have an electric 8 zoom and it seems like everything works. I press the bottom to shoot but I can hear something moving but the actual gear that move the film don't turn. Any suggestions on what I should do?

    I have one, and it's all blue and does not have a big lens, what kind is yours? Also, if the needle is in the yellow does that mean there's not enough light?

    I’ve read in various manuals for automatic-only cameras that the Type A filter should be used when filming 40 ISO outside in the sun, as the electric eye thinks you’re using what would have been an ISO meant for indoor shooting back then. I shot a roll of the 40 B&W reversal on a Bell & Howell 305 (also auto-only) and most of my scenes were really overexposed, except in areas that had a lot of shade, when I had it set to the normal filter. Has anyone else experienced this?

      For BW film, switching to Type A (Orange) filter is no big deal but Daylight color film (already balanced for sun) - so putting an orange filter on would be funky (not in a good way). I have no data suggesting that changing the filter alters the exposure. Thanks for watching and happy shooting - Mike

    Hmm… got one these that I’ve haven’t used in years and decided to use it. Didn’t realize that was the film speed knob. I thought it was the film SPEED as in FPS.. well I have a roll of CineX B/W ASA 125. I’m going to put it on 40 and see what happens… I see you sell ASA 40 color negative. Do you ASA 40 Color Positive?

      No 40 iso positive...just Ektachrome 100D. Set top 40 and use a ND filter over the lens. Video - ruclips.net/video/cBCJNRo8Ydk/видео.html

      Hmm yes.. since this is fully automatic, which ND filter would you recommend for the ASA 125 B/W set to 40 bright daylight? And which filter for the Ektchrome 100D?

    Hi I recently bought once of these and have loaded it. The spool 2 motor is working, but it is not strong enough to pull the film through. Any ideas?

      Common problem with vintage gear. No repair so only option is to source another.

    How long will the camera film a movie 🎥?

    • @FilmPhotographyProject
      @FilmPhotographyProject  4 месяца назад

      25 feet per side. Approx 4 minutes total when you shoot the entire roll (both sides)

    Kodak should have always stuck to what they were good at: making film. Kodak made the worst cameras.
