You should also mention how to diagnose CLL, which is by flow cytometry showing a clonality of mature B cells)
There is a video for that: Diagnosis& Treatment of Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL) ruclips.net/video/UPGi7V0vNQs/видео.html

QUESTION. In stage 4 of CLL., Is smudged cells will still be present in the PBS?
day before exams trying to save my medical year , Prayers needed
I wish you all the best!
What about Central Nervous System Leukemia? I got diagnosed with MS and eerily enough I'm Albino with chronic anemia. I've been very, very sick my whole life, only to get worse here in recent years. Losing a ton of weight, just all the symptoms are there for some type of blood cancer. I'm not sure if I've been misdiagnosed or what. I can't hold on to iron so I get blood transfusions. This was in childhood until present. Haven't seen a hematologist in a very long time though. Blood work came back with some worrisome results at the neurologist. Currently waiting on the hematologist referral and so thus, my neurologists have decided to start Ofatumumab medicine in hopes that should my MS diagnosis be wrong, it could prove beneficial on all fronts. It's approved for leukemia's too. But It's been really hard trying to grapple with this potential diagnosis bc I honestly can't find much on it. Just that it really can mimic neurological and anemia conditions. Could you perhaps make a video on that? This video is so easy to understand and follow, hard to find!
Thanks for the video
My pleasure! Thanks for watching and taking time to leave a comment! All the best!
Sir u are awesome.thank you ✨
You are a life saver!!😍
Thank you 🙏
Thank you!!
Love this video..thank you
My pleasure 😇
Thankyou for all of your haematology morphology videos! Very useful n informative. Ur explanation is clear n it’s funny how u used the descriptive word for the cell: they suck! LOL 😂
In ALL, AML, anemia thrombocytopenia not high risk, since they begin with blasts replacing bonemarrow. But in CLL it is high risk, since it is not replacement, but is metastatic. Please correct me if I am wrong.
CLL is low risky, CML is most riskier... Only normal B cells increased in CLL...survival rate is 7-9 yrs. In other leukemia abnormality is present in cells depending on type of leukemia, but CLL has normal mature cells
@@DentalClinician Yes sir, what i meant was, anemia and thrombocytopenia shows later stages of CLL, than its first stages. Unlike ALL,AML where they are present at the start itself.. is that correct?
@@gayathrijinesh3004 yes, that's why I mentioned CLL as "Low risky"...
Risk = CML > AML > ALL > CLL.
Informative . However, please clarify; I the last example, you have symbol for man not woman & usually found in males. Also last example stage 0 not 1? Jeanne
Please can u make cardiology playlist?! 🙆♀️🙆♀️🙆♀️
you said sll is small lymphocytic leukemia in 1:49 , you must say : small lymphocytic lymphoma ,,
your explanation is very helpful , thank you :)
U r life saver man...Love from pakistan💙
Thank you :)
You are the best like usual ❤😍❤
Thank you 🙏
Thank you ❤
Can we see blast cell ( lymphoblastic ) in P•B or B•M ???

2:18 I'm a female who's only 35 (dx last year) but have had CLL since my early 20s- I actually know a girl in my online CLL support group who was diagnosed at only 18. It's a lot more common in older people, that's true, but it can affect anyone, even teens
I agree...and I am so sorry you are going through this.
What support group did u join, i also joined an online support group
@@MedicosisPerfectionalis Thank you- I was diagnosed with High Risk CLL (there was a worry I had Richters Transformation for a while, but after tests & biopsies we were relieved to find it wasn't Richters). I've been doing well on an Ibrutinib & Venetoclax medical trial so, please God, I'll be around for a while 🙂

Thanks for this video...I have question...how can differentiate between CLL and lymphoma ow non hodgkin's lymphoma???? I want the answer becuses I have exam
What does “ow” mean?
CLL : normal B cells but increased in PBS...Lymphoma : RS cell I.e, abnormal giant B cell (RS cell ) seen in Lymphnode biopsy
I love you Medicosis 😊❤❤❤❤❤❤
Hello ..if you please is there any video about types if CLL as unmutated IGHv and mutated؟ it is so confusing for me ...thank s

My pleasure 😇.
It has been a long time since you commented.
How is everything?
Medicosis Perfectionalis everything is good ! I’m in my final year now my final examination is about one month time ! Hehe
Can CLL occur in patients at a slightly younger age? My father passed away from CLL at 50 years old and I was just curious to know.
It’s possible
I was diagnosed age 33 and 48 now. I’ve been fairly stable and have not needed any treatments so far for it.
Perfect video...I have question .....is increased WBC more in leukemia or lymphoma
Probably leukemia, but no one can diagnose either one based on WBC count alone.
@@MedicosisPerfectionalis million thanks for you....👍👍👍
You’re always welcome:)
Good job

I really like your voice 😄
Oh! Thank you 😊
thank u 😍
Can someone answer my question please? A patient with CLL that has hepatomegaly and splenomegaly, what stage is she at?
What else does the patient have?
Watch & wait for what? For it to get worse or go away in its own?
Aggressive intervention may do more harm than good when the cancer is not aggressive.
Please make videos on renal and cardiac pathology
Ok
@@MedicosisPerfectionalis I will be happy to see & learn from those videos
Thank you 😊
Amazing
Thanks 🙏
CLL only effect the lymphocyte then how anemia and thrombocypenia occur in CLL ?
The abnormal WBCs will "crowd out” other cell lines as discussed in the introduction videos.
At the end you say she's in stage 1 so low risk. She's in stage 0 hehe.
He ment that stage 0 is the first stage
Thank you
My pleasure 😇
