I love her style and her philosophy. I just purchased my first home as a single woman at 52. I haven’t moved in yet but I’m so excited at the prospect of discovering its character and finding new ways to create. It’s a small footprint but over the years I’ve gotten used to and quite like a smaller space. It’s taken me a long time to acquire pieces that have stood the test of time, and that’s even with evolving tastes. Make your own rules! Great video, thanks so much.
As a 42 year old woman who bought her first home 2 years ago, I like how she spoke about the light. Decorate your home really slowly to see how the light is changing through the seasons and how you ACTUALLY use spaces and not just what you think you will do. It's taken me until now to really settle in (and it's a small space too) Good luck, it's a wonderful experience
@@liamflow7812 Yes, I loved how she spoke about that. Sometimes it takes my breath away. I’ve always been observant of the way light moves through a room. Thank you 🌻
This video might be a new favourite. I really enjoyed the simple way the homeowner described things. There’s a certain vocabulary architects use that sometimes makes projects really inaccessible, and it was a relief to watch someone communicating clearly and with warmth about why they enjoy their space. Please let me echo what others have said: more of this, please! Well done to everyone involved in this.
"Tom actually has no idea what colors those are so he thinks they're grey" This might just be the funniest episode so far, while everyone else is jumping on the trend of gifting their partners with glasses that fix colorblindness so they can do emotional reveals of when they finally see color she just decided she would bless herself with a colorful house instead and let Tom keep seeing grey ... talk about lemons and lemonade 😂😂 ❤️
I love the love she shows to her house. When she talks about waking up to those palm tree shadows and her explaining all those little details she loves. Really nice video, I'm happy about how she talks about her home. :)
This one feels so special and authentic, its a home. I love it, i can appreciate the big showroom looking homes with attention to simplicity and architecture but this is absolutely amazing, right down to the tile choices.
I think this is the best video you’ve ever published! I love love love the playfulness, transitions, creativity and personality in the video. Yasmine’s home is a dream!
So much love and thought and sadness and beauty seem to go into this home. This conversation encapsulates what a home is and what design does everyday in a surprisingly simple way. I swear it should be required viewing to all interior designers and architects out there. (and Yas, your name(s) sound super Egyptian so I'm pretty sure you are. So, greetings from Cairo. Baitek gamil w kalamek agmal :-)
Love the candour and creativity - enjoyed hearing her sentiments about what it means to build a home. Also a fantastic transition shot at 03:00 - beautifully captured.
Aww man the details in this place are nuts! Listening to Yasmine talk, everything has a story behind it and the story isn't necessarily about monetary value or status...
I generally don't comment as all other r abt neutrals n white n big curtains but this video is certainly more creative beautiful n a home not just house
This is such a beautiful watch. I enjoyed all the colors and overall design. I also like the story presentation, heart warming and funny at the same time. Cheers!
such a thoughtful interior! would love it if this video were a little longer, with slower shots of the close-ups and details so we can take it in more!
Repent, trust, and believe in Jesus and be saved. To repent means you confess your sins (the acts and thoughts that are wrong according to God and His Word) and ask for forgiveness with sincerity. Once you do this, strive to no longer do those wrong/sinful things, but do what is right according to God’s Word. It’s not by doing good things that you are saved but by trusting and believing in God and His grace/mercy. John 3:16-17 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.
Not a fan (of this video or the space) -- the busy eclectic nature of the home, combined with rapid cuts in the video, make for a really messy and unpleasant experience.
I can’t believe this video doesn’t have more views, it might be the thumbnail or maybe the name of the house, but damn, this lady is funny as hell. The color blind thing made me laugh out loud and great house, great people, and he goes that sing great channel. Thank you local project, you guys have been killing it lately with the inclusion of the American houses. When I first saw the inventor house, I almost commented that you guys blew it the f out the water because I had these expectations and I knew they couldn’t be met because they were basically impossible, but then you guys surprise me by delivering on the impossibility. Hats off to you guys truly. I’m not sure how an architecture video channel can also be, in my opinion one of the rockstar channels of RUclips, but here it stands. I seriously love you guys, you just need to start a small series that shows the behind-the-scenes and some bloopers and I don’t know anything else that would make it better. Again, thank you LP. Your fellow architectural enthusiast. - Nick. 😌🙏🏽🏛️🏗️👷🏽🏡🧱🏭 🏢🏘️
Finally a home that looks like home where somebody lives and not like a showroom of a furniture store :)
😂😂😂

A true artist's home. Finally a place that's not just cladded with marble and timber with straight lines everywhere.
Yasmine is a true genius with colour and design.
I think this is the best video you’ve ever published! I love love love the playfulness, transitions, creativity and personality in the video. Yasmine’s home is a dream!
I want to grow up to live like that women. She seems awesome and she created a real home. My absolute favorite home so far.
Yasmine, your narrative really resonates with me and I like your space a lot.
I love her she is so genuine, she always makes it work! I am a big fan
I love her house. Didn't expect to love her personality as well
I'm using mobile data and watching this on 1080p. No regrets here.

Awesome paintings and objects of art!!!
Beautiful home!!!
I'm gonna binge-watch your channel now..
Love the candour and creativity - enjoyed hearing her sentiments about what it means to build a home. Also a fantastic transition shot at 03:00 - beautifully captured.
Love the art selections and the kitchen is absolutely small but gorgeous!
Incredible home! And yes, an actual home! With personal objects.
Aww man the details in this place are nuts! Listening to Yasmine talk, everything has a story behind it and the story isn't necessarily about monetary value or status...
One of the best houses and the first home to see! ♥️
Space and light with gorgeous texural landscape coming through.
I've watched this video four times - love her taste and style. One of my favorite tours that you have done.
Colourful, comfortable, characterful and full of personality.
I generally don't comment as all other r abt neutrals n white n big curtains but this video is certainly more creative beautiful n a home not just house
This is true PERSONAL STYLE. Our Company would love to collaborate with you! The Local Project are breaking out.
Lovely home, love her approach to design! More of this and less sterile white!

Where do I get those cat face drink coasters?

You can't really tell what the living space looks like. It's just a bunch of random close ups

Does she dust every day?
Filming closeups is not a house tour.
Not really seeing the home just loads of supposedly artistic shots of things. I’d rather just see the rooms as a whole.
Not a fan (of this video or the space) -- the busy eclectic nature of the home, combined with rapid cuts in the video, make for a really messy and unpleasant experience.
could colour-blind people imagine colors which they arnt able to see in their brain?
I dont see it.
I thought that was the home before the renewal. It looked terrible to my taste
I have just got a bunch of new ideas just by watching this..... But, I am a 'learner', I always want to 'learn'.
Just say curtains
OMG....So cluttered and mismatched ...... Not my style!
This home looks beautiful! The husband is lucky
