Literally just finished my first cooking video. Took me around 6-7 hours with filming and editing. I love the idea with different angles, that’s what I implemented in my videos and I will continue doing.
Nice tips!! I am a one woman cooking show, hard to cook and film yourself at the same time! My mail platform is TikTok, but I am trying to do more YT videos now 😀
Great tip about changing the angle for each step! I’ve already been trying to be a lot more intentional and creative with how I’m filming things. I was “kinda” switching things up, but not for every step. Easy one to add, thanks!
This is exactly what I have been looking for!! Mastery!! I am a home chef and starting to go into shooting my own videos and definitely know that I am lacking somewhere. I would love to see some more of these as I create two new random recipes every week but never had videos of them :(. KUDOOS to you champ!!
I liked the final result, the steps and all the informations in this video even though I can't apply all of them, but one step at a time I'll make it. Thanks for sharing!
2- 3 Hours! WOW. It looks way more simple. You explaining this really helps the viewer appreciate the time that creative work takes! Thanks for sharing!
thank you!!! I'm only filming a single video (for now) unlike these other people and I'll probably just share it with my friends and maybe upload it to yt if it turns out well because well, why not, but even if I'm only planning on doing one this is a huge help. Thanks so much!!!
Thank you. Love your tips about multiple angles and I like the way you edit the texts in. I uploaded my first video and will be shooting more this week, hope to incorporate your tips! Thanks!
Best video on camera angle techniques I've just started off and this video is a life saver hopefully will apply some techniques in my next video thank you for the very informative video
Those are very good tips and straight to the point! You should make a second part and explain about light angles, camera settings such as aperture and auto/manual focus, etc. But I agree with you on the camera angles though. My video quality seriously improved once I started filming from 2 angles, versus just the overhead shot.
You are the best man, I am shooting a Food Video tomorrow as a favor but I gotta make it amazing to added to my portafolio. This is just the best video about this, you rock!
Thank you for sharing Patrick!! I love the angles, usually I'm shooting meal preps and 3 recipes per video so those angle shots take more time, but I love them so I will definitely give it a try!
cool, I'm so happy to find this tutorial cause I have the same types of equipment as you do, but I originally have no idea about how to use it properly, I wanna start my own channel on domestic social media about the cooking tutorials, with enough practice I hope everything is gonna be ok! thanks again!
patrick... thanks for your tips, ideas and inspiring video angles, it really gives me lot of rooms to improve my cooking channel....thank you for the inspiration.

would you be able to do a video on how to get good lighting for these types of videos without the lights or reflectors getting in the way that can be used for home spaces? amazing video btw.
Thanks for the great tips & details on how to shoot all by urself. Im also doing all by myself, now i know why i find it challenging to get the view that i want, its because i lack of external monitor, will invest in one soon. Thanks again!
Nice Video! I will do more research and try to implement some of your techniques in my videos! Thank you for the inspiration and all those useful information!
Hi Patrick, is possible to obtain all this angles with 1 tripod? And the tripod should placed on the floor and not on the working table while cooking, right? Is a quarted angle a 45°?A beginner 😊
This was awesome! Super helpful, I've been looking for new equipment and a new video editing software. Seeing a demo like this is so much more valuable than just reading up on products :)

I don't have a camera we record only on her tablet and sometimes my phone. I just bought 3 not too expensive tri-pod w remote to hold my phone but haven't use it yet. Hope this would work my views are going down and idk how to edit yet help plz thank you more power to you😊
