Season of Discovery Class Tier List Phase 1 - Blackfathom Deeps Tier List - WoW Classic

Hey everyone! Decided to take a look at the WoWhead Power Rankings for Blackfathom Deeps so far in Phase 1 Season of Discovery. Let me know what you guys think about how the classes are performing, and if you agree or disagree with any of the takes on this list.

This Wowhead list was created Pre-buff, so classes likely shift around a bit but it's a little soon to tell. Expect Ele/Balance/Shadow/Enhance to jump up to around B-A tier. Warlock will actually get a damage boost due to resist changes as well.

idk man this is incredibly biased, personally i'd throw Resto Druids into S tier for wild growth and HT spam essentially they are there own paladin w/o beacon or desac, Holy pally between S and C depending on if they have their Beacon or not (it really makes a huge diff) After the starsurge update i'd put balance in B tier and swap prot warr for Fury, swap enhance sham with assass, swap holy with BM. Not only is the damage pretty good but their utility is very helpful in BFD

You’re way off on Feral tank mit. I’m at almost 3k health, 52% mit from armor and 20% mit from SotF. Their issue is lack of AoE threat. Huge single target threat though. But I actually think Druid tanks Mit is the best. With raid buffs I’m at 80%ish mit, maybe more. And 20% applies to magic with a giant health pool.

The stornrage heal procs are not free, they are just instant. Still cost mana. Also using wrath between heals kills your mp5. So it's not great.. mana is a big issue for resto atm.

Clearly hasn't tried playing resto shaman. Healing rain is annoying on targeting, but with melee groups being so popular with wild strikes targeting isnt much of an issue. With weapon swapping shamanistic rage literally gives a full mana bar every 1min CD. Priests are still better for the dispel and easier to play, but shaman and druide are a solid A tier only SLIGHTLY beneathe the ridiculous OP priest

I heal BFD every lockout on Resto Shaman. I dont even feel like the healing rain targeting is bad (and i dont even think i said that in the video), we just dont offer any buffs which sucks. When you get to the point in raids where you dont need to worry about raw healing, you start to think about how to optimize the groups. I'd just prefer a priest who can dispel and give stam, a druid for MotW and battle rez, or a mage for int buff and damage, than a shaman. All these things make the entire raid better, where as additional healing itself isnt that great in comparison

Honestly I’d consider Shamanistic rage giving the party about 8 mana per 5, frost resist totem, tremor totem and additional interrupts for Kelris more valuable than motw and a battle res (which any raid pushing parses will already have in a feral)

The DPS spec of warriors is Arms, with 5 talents on furry and is only S tier if you have WF/WS.
And the best tank for BFD is paladin, or hunt pet since you can ignore the mechanics on the last boss with the stacks and just cheese it.
I agree on the rest.

Oh great point on the paladin! I run horde mostly so i completely forgot about that, but that definitely makes the fight easier.

Thats rogue tank chief
