I can't imagine the guilt that Will or El(or both) would feel if Mike was targeted. But also, forced outing whether to us as the audience or to other characters in the story would hurt me so bad. I remember in Percy Jackson when a certain character was outed(IYKYK) and the emotional damage that did to me just reading it. But SEEING something like that? My heart might actually stop. The angst is coming and I'm not ready

something i love about the show is the details. that scene where mike at the start of season 3 or 4 (cant remember) and is late for school is something i love because we see in his room that there is a "one way" sign pointing to his closet.. again, to his CLOSET something else interesting is that mike seems to be the only one dealing with his closeted sexuality in an inherently bad way- doing everything he can to avoid it, by dating El, avoiding will, getting rid of his child hood that reminds him of will (until will is gone, then he goes to the hellfire club) etc. this compared to will who lesser tries to hide it from himself, and robin who is more so worried about what others will think being in a homophobic society, is a large different that might point towards mike having a negative way of his queerness being exposed.

I justed wanted to say how much i absolutely love you videos (this one included ofc)💛 I never really believed in byler untill i came across your videos, and that is when all the little things I found kinda weird before started making sense. Like, I always saw Will as Mikes 'special best friend'. I remember thinking Oh I want a (samesex) friendship like that soo bad (now realising I am probably gay too haha..). Then there is the kiss at the end of season 3, which, since I first saw it, always seemed off to me, like it was their breakup kiss or something, so when El smiled right after, I was confused haha. But I thought I was probably too inexperienced to understand anyways. It was also so strange to me how, at that moment, the camera lingered on Mikes pained face soo much, when they were leaving Wills house. Because Will (and El, but these shots with the house seemed more focused on Will), was a friend of all of them right, so why was only he making those faces. And S4 is just full of a looot. There are a lot more of these small moments like this, the evidence is all there if you keep an open mind to it ;). Idk, i am rambling for way too long here. But I just wanted to say how much I love your videos, and appreciate you pouring so much time into sharing your great analyses with us, they always make my day.
