Enjoy one of the rare videos of Mountain Coaster Run in WINTER! Lean into the curves, a sense of weightlessness, magnificent views, clean alpine air...and definitely a great adrenaline rush!!
Pradaschier Alpine Coaster with an exact length of 3.06 km is THE LONGEST Mountain Coaster in Switzerland. It is built on Pradaschier Adventure Mountain located in Churwalden, a quick 15 minutes by car or Bus from Chur train station. It is the ONLY mountain coaster in switzerland that runs in Summer as well as in Winter. Operation in Winter remains limited and severely affected by the heavy snowfalls and weather conditions.
After a long waiting time, we could finally take this ride in March 2021 at -5 degreeC and presenting here this fun adventure coaster ride for you folks. More information about this adventure mountain and mountain coaster rides can be found here:

I have enjoyed the video & the ride. All the videos are nice which you are upload on your channel. Is this ride available at jungfrau?
How does this video not have millions of views? This is literally the most incredible video I've ever seen. My husband has stage 4 metastatic pancreatic and liver cancer. I am going to show him this video and see if I can talk him into going to that coaster and riding on it before he gets any sicker. We live in East Texas, USA so it will be hella expensive to travel there but well worth it because it is definitely a once in a lifetime adventure! 🙌 Thank you so much for sharing this incredible video 🙏
Right?!?!?!?
So very sorry to hear about your advanced cancer diagnosis. I am saying a prayer right now that you and your husband can make that trip. Please Jesus work a miracle in these people's lives. 🙏 If it's too far along then watch it together and know that heaven will promise to be eternally more amazing.
@@loveahusky Amen, thank you so much! ❤️🙏
That was slick. Nice run and outstanding film work. Felt like I was on the sled.
Thanks 😊👍
Fabulous by all means and the aerial footage was the icing on the cake.
Thanks a lot for appreciating our efforts! 😊
Beautiful view 😍... great ride in freezing temperature ☀️🤩
Glad you enjoyed the adrenaline rush! 🤩
Looks amazing in 4K and full screen!
Glad you enjoyed ❄️🎢
I love these rides! the sceneray is so beautiful!
It really is! 😊
Wow this ride is so exciting !!
What an INCREDIBLE track!!! Thanks!
Our pleasure!
I would LOVE to do that ride, looks amazing. Cheers from Canada.
You should! Greetings from Switzerland 🇨🇭🙌🏻
Amazing scenery and that looks a lot of fun!
Absolutely!
What a great video!
Many thanks. Glad you enjoyed it 😊
I would like to see the video of them plowing the snow off the track.
Fantastic !!
That video was so much fun. THANK YOU. It was so beautiful and what a ride, wow!!! Always wanted to ride a roller coaster that wasnt over in 2 mins and this is my dream on some serious steroids. I now have that on my bucket list. ❤️
Our pleasure :)
That was a great run! Such a beautiful place! I enjoyed watching, thanks for taking us along. I see what you mean about the carts...
Glad you enjoyed 😊
Good morning Aksense
Hope all is well
Beautiful landscape
Heartiest thanks for sharing the ride
I love it ❤🎈🙏
Good morning! Truly glad that you enjoyed the ride and snow covered country side landscape 😊
Beautiful!
but feeling 🥶 just watching
Ask us..🥶🥶😅
That was fun !! 😁 👍 ❄❄❄❄❄
Glad you enjoyed it 😁
It’s over ten at evening.. I am sitting in summerly sun shine and watching (summer) alpine coaster done in winter.. O’man we just had a six Months of winter and snow for five.. This ”hobby” MUST stay a Summer fun! 😁 Even -5C isn’t that cold, dude, why!?
LoL.. Yeah, I know, because it is possible and no one else is there… 😜
That is the safe ride structure and comfortable bench; 40km/h feels too slow to ride! No need to use brakes anywhere at all! Full speed all the way! Easily could do.. lets say.. 60km/h! 😆 Then those curves would feel a bit tighter.. until one would like to have 80… LooL.
Anyway easy and safe way to everyone have fun coming downhill!
Lol 😂😂
Loved the summer video but I'm from the North--- LOVE the fact that it's open in winter -- Would LOVE to do this. !
You should! 😀
This is alot better, image. Stabilized, nice
🤩✌🏻
Wow
Awesome!!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Awesome! We have some cool mountains here in Tucson, Arizona where I live but I love other mountain videos! Can’t wait to get out and explore soon! Love your channel! I’m following!
Glad you enjoy our content. Thanks to let us know! Appreciate it.
Brilliant video!
Many thanks! Glad you enjoyed 😊
i love it :)
Really great video... No breaks wow. Thanks
Glad you enjoyed! 🙌🏻😊
@@AKSense is there a brake bar but you just didn't use it?
🔥🔥🔥
Schön ♥️
Love from India.
Greetings from Zurich! Stay safe 🙏🏼😇
Wow so much more beautiful in the winter! Are you able to brake on these or is the speed controlled for you?
Brakes remain in one’s hand so one can control the speed
wow! That's a long...long ride, how many minutes is that and is that the actual speed?
Wow. Great video. Thank u for sharing. May I ask for thee exact date this video was taken and where is this mountain coster? 😍
Our pleasure! March 9.
Please keep in mind that severe weather conditions, such as heavy snowfall, impact the operation of this ride.
J'ai compris comment faire remonter les véhicules.
C'est très cool.
디테일한 설명까지
I´ll surely be doing this next december! Your video added it to my Switzerlkand Bucket List. Would I need snow gear? I don´t wanna ski just this ride... Thanks!
No you don’t need snow gear. Of course you need to protect yourself against winter weather
Question here, and thanks for the video! Do you think it's worth going 3 times? Or 1 is enough?
2 rides definitely worth…the 3rd one and more on to individual’s adrenaline rush
Depends on how brave you are.
If you can run flat out first time, job is done.
Sequels are never as good as the original…
Hello! I loved the video, I wanted to ask you a question, can I take my gopro and record? Or did you have special permission? I already bought my ticket thanks to your video! I would like to be able to record the experience like you, a hug and once again a great video.
Did you go? How was it?! Were you able to record?
@saridethsolis3274: sorry, we missed your comment here. Did you go for this ride? If not, get a harness to wear an action camera/Gopro on your chest. No handheld cameras are allowed.
Are there any luggage/pramchair storage facilities at the bottom station?
looks just so damn good.... this is what tasmania needs... boost the economy
many countries can learn from it ✌🏻😊
Hello, If i have swiss travel pass, does it consider as half fare card as well?
Swiss travel pass and Half-fare cards aren’t same. In short, Swiss travel pass won’t give you any reductions on this ride.
Yeeeeeeeehaaaaaaaaw that looks like the ride of a lifetime! 🙌 Has anyone ever been injured or killed on that coaster? 😱
Not that we know ;) We have used it 7-8 times 🙋
I would very much like to ride this coaster. I really would.
Every adventure enthusiast should ride this one 🥶🍻
Price of chairlift and ride, is MORE than my Ryanair flight out there!!!
well, it WAS Ryanair you were flying.
hi, may i know how to get there from zurich or lucerne? i'd really like to this, but it seems quite far from the city. thanks before
From Zurich, one needs to take train to Chur train station (~1 hr ride) and then a bus from Chur train station to Churwalden Bergbahnen station (~20 mins ride).
What is the difference between (1x Toboggan including chairlift) and (3 x Toboggan including chairlift) while booking the tickets?
With "1x Toboggan including chairlift" ticket you get one coaster run and with "3 x Toboggan including chairlift" you get 3 runs.
So is there another track that brings the cars up? Kinda looks like a one-way trip
Cars go up via Chairlift.
Did you watch full video? Your question is already answered in this video.
So i have zero knowledge about these apart from watching a couple videos. If the carts come off the track to be lifted back to the top, wouldnt that mean they could possibly come off the track as youre riding it down?
If carts are locked but freely slidable on the track during run, and unlocked for taking it out….then? As we know that they don’t come off so casually (as you are thinking), so you may question it otherwise 😉
SUPER 👍😁
please i need to know witch month of the year is this?
Winter season- Starting Dec. until April. But, severe weather conditions, such as heavy snowfall, impact the operation.
How do I get there
How are the brakes on these things controlled?
Brakes remain in user’s hand. You can see two brake handles at the sides of the coaster cart.
Would like to see it at actual speed but nice video.
Great prices. Also, Leave!
Minimum what age can ride?
Toboggan run rules and restrictions:
- Children may toboggan alone from the age of 8 and with a minimum size of 135 cm
- Infants from the age of 3 must be accompanied by an adult.
It is 10 times more expensive, than is Hungary. Our longest is 2,2 km long, and one slide equals 2,8 CHF, 3 slides 7 CHF
好刺激
Glad you enjoyed it!
How do they bring the carts up again,
Seems you didn’t watch full video..that Information is in the video. 😉😅
@@AKSense no its not, i watched it to the end? Probably missed it incase
😁 check it @7:28 in the video.
Swiss engineering and ingenuity. Make use of existing chairlift infrastructure. 👍👍👍 greetings from 🇦🇺
Greetings! I am making a video about the world's longest alpine coasters. May I use this footage and give full on-screen credit to your channel?
Hello, thanks for reaching out to us. If we understand correctly, you will have financial benefits out of that video. In that case, you must buy an appropriate license and/or share the revenues collected from the video, beside giving adequate credit on the video.
@@AKSense Isn't it free promotion/advertising for your business? One could argue with greed....
How did you manage to shoot the video - I saw a sign that said photography not allowed!? 😅 Seems you have a camera rig with stabilization, too, how did you manage to get the video that smooth?
You can get a harness to wear the GoPro on your chest.
I think the ban is specific to handheld cameras
@counterfit5: yes, you are right. @davidwebb4904: Yes, one can do that.

enjoy this virtual tour... 🙂
Too icy experience in the winter, imo, not enough body motion to keep warm.

looks nice but those double jumpdown slopes on every turn are bullshit. ruins all the go-down fun.
Yes, some may see them as killers of this fun ride, and some may see it as extra surprises and more fun.✌🏻
Wow great ride! I think my face would have turned frozen stiff 😂 Is the ride bumpy in some places and a slight strain on those with mild back issues?
Well you can use masks to save your face 😁
Yes, ride has few bumps for extra fun but it could be an issue to people with back problems.
A winter ride must be nice, no catch-ups, just enjoy the ride.
The G-power in the curves must be quite hefty, too. How on Earth do you stay on track? Don't you hear the woods shouting to you "Come this way, my friend!"
